Depends on bell height of the rotors, and caliper "bulkiness. The offset of the wheel doesn't always mean that the wheel can clear brakes. Usually, the more dish there is, the less chance the wheel will have "x factor" to clear calipers. I tried 16x7 RS's at 33p and 20mm spacers and they wouldn't even come close to fitting over my brakes. Where-as various Volk/SSR wheels at higher offsets fit the brakes just fine! I can help, but need details - if you want to keep them secret, PM me.

You might not be able to redrill them, the 4 stud ones I had on my E30 weren't flatback IIRC.

I do agree that full electric cars are the future - hybrid, not so much. The first round of F:SAE Electric is this year, huge amount of challenge with new dynamics - even motor per wheel is now a possibility! Yeah, but a little jerry can get the v8 moving, but your fancy electric car ain't goin' no where on it's own if it's flat! Uh....really? Electric motors I've been reading still need gearboxes because they have power and torque peaks. Even the aforementioned Tesla has these..

Sure do, he was last year's powertrain chief engineer

220kg car + 60kg driver (in the pic) = 280kg Supercharged R6 = 90whp 321whp/tonne with driver Without driver is pretty much meaningless lol (410whp/tonne)

Chur for the article Mattzy Our simulator's running again Definitely BYO. Why not? 300whp/tonne ftmfw

I don't think so? The spoiler itself covers the bootlid sides though?

The lower bit bolts on the same, the top bit needs two new holes I think? Not sure. I was only going to use the bottom bit - but decided I liked my tech1 better.

I kinda like the wheels Maybe see how they look without the centrecaps?

I find wheeler dealers very very entertaining But I guess that kinda show only appeals to a small collection of boring people...

Btw - after polishing - wax or clear(if you can get it to stick) might be a good idea. Polishing exposes fresh metal to the elements = corrosion = ugly. My RS's turned to pooz soon after I polished them 'cos I cbf overcoating.

Find someone with an air compressor, small buffer and ............machine polish

Pretty choice start. I like the freshness, reminds me of old school Clarkson (read some) - but lacking flow and coherence. Some bits have too many adjectives/bits in it - making it unnecessarily disjointed to read. Also remember to be guiding your reader toward your point constantly - or the writing may meander. For example, instead of: How about: My Bachelor of Arts 2c P.S. You have PM

It's an hour behind for me. I have auto ticked too..

Bad assery. Nisarn gbox + custom driveshaft?

I was thinking about this the other day. The main issue (I think) with cheap coilover kits is the damping is a bit shithaus. Can you get the specs of the XYZ shock insert? Maybe replace it with koni, et al damper matched to your spring rate? And yes my GC's were circa $3k+ all up.

Boosted? Mattzy? E30? I are very excite.

Kamei German made 2 door kit, to fit E30 or E30 M3
JiB replied to KillerX's topic in TradeMe discussions
I'm not sure that's the best looking kit in the world...it sure is 80's and I'm not sure in a good way! [rant]I can't seem to sell my MT2 wing - so far have had 3 people ask me to hold it for them...No one turns up. Same deal with other "scene" stuff like my roof racks. I reckon most of the demand is just talking, just like the time I tried to bring in dished 16x8's - as soon as it came to putting money down suddenly everyone was quiet.[\rant] -
G-Limited MX5 and my POS E30. And a whole lot of wheels.
-
Get an MX5. They rule. *I'm biased - I own one. My standard 1.8 MX5 handles better than my E30 with all it's handling mods

Got prices for a Nexus One or N900? I really like the iPhone's slickness, but I can't stand it's limited ability (probaby because I'm a massive geek) $1219 here
