    Car wash product

Wash it in the cool/shade. And use a decent microfibre/chamois to dry. Hope that helps

100% NOT seperating. Sorry guys. Need the space quite urgently. Come on, it's FREE fan kit is out of a MR-S. It's pretty choice, has a push fan and a pull fan that can be wired seperately. I can't remember if it fitted infront or behind my radiator. Only test fitted it.

  8. Lol, we like our carbon. For example, our carbon steering wheel with touch screen dash Excessive(ly awesome). We were also 1 of 3 teams with a full carbon monocoque at competition As for aero, Monash's wings do about 80-90kg's at 100kph. Not sure where the repco-esque-ness comes from. I think it looks awesome, the rear wing is mounted directly on the rear uprights! Auckland also had aero in 2006, could probably drive upside down at speed They guy who did the aero now works for Renault F1 if I iirc. Btw, don't hesitate to join our mailing list at fsae.co.nz for updates and info on the cars (or even better - if you know someone who'd like to sponsor us )
  9. Cheers guys It is lots of fun - lots to learn, lots to do! The M09 was a new design philosophy (leaving the R6 powertrain) - custom transaxle, narrower track, etc. So we weren't expecting too much at this competition because of all the bugs to sort out. But we did manage 3rd in skidpad and 5th in sprint, so the car is reasonably quick dynamically! We were announced 7th, now 9th Not sure what the deal is tbh Cheers! The uniforms looked great! They're autocross cars, the minimum wheelbase is 1525mm so they're stumpy little things. Mind you, they're fairly impressive stumpy things, leaders are now 3sec to 100kph, 2+ lateral g's, 2.5g's deceleration! More awesome cars: Monash is famous for their wind tunnels, can you tell? Waikato - the only other kiwi team ECU and their awesome JPS colour scheme Wollongong and their turbo beast! 100nm of tq in a 200kg car!

    M325i vs SR20DET.

Consider getting a go-kart for seat time and skills. Things happen much, much faster in a go-kart, would make most saloon cars seem like slow motion. Also learn how vehicles work. Check out OptimumG. This is probably the best money you can spend to go fast in the real world. You will need to fly out to a seminar if you're serious. Best of luck dude.
  11. Just back form Aus: Testing Ash throwing it down In full race livery More here fsae.co.nz Don't hesitate to contact us if you feel the need to support NZ motorsport
  12. They look awesome! But beware, the wheels needed to pull the look off will probably result in tramlining/pwnd scrub radius/etc.
  13. I'm also keen to replace all bushes rear of g/box.
  14. Spotted a white 2002 with turbo flares around the Northcote Area. Particularly on Onewa Rd in the mornings - brave dude driving it as a daily! Lol, if it's who I think it is - the drop kick is quite a fast Formula First driver. His mum's the Porsche Car Club of NZ's Treasurer, and his dad has a very tasty 911 race car as well (1.44's around Track 1 Taupo ). ...And they have a hoist in their garage. Ballers.

    Garage Clearout

Updated. Have sent you PM Boyce.
  16. Might have to try them - backspacing might be an issue. Would look super pimpin' though!
  17. Hmm, might pass for now. Wheels too far away

    e30 Schnitzer

Do you have a price tag on the above Glenn? Quite interested myself, now that my race car's motor is getting a bit tired. Probably without the headwork though. Not sure I could bring myself to get headwork done on a m20 boat anchor
  19. Hmm, how much more? Otherwise where are they? Yessir
  20. I'll take them for $250 if I can pick up in Auckland?
  21. A car driven by a young male who races. So i guess all of my cars are boy racer cars. On a more serious note, i think it's a car that's been modified to garner attention with little thought given to safety or consideration of other road users. E.g. As low as possible for as cheap as possible, loud cars, audio that can be heard outside the vehicle, etc
  22. That's awesome. Just needs a tow hook for pimpin' tow wagen status.
  23. Not if you're rockin' M3 guards, the evo guards were designed with 18's in mind weren't they?
