Znoelli's are alright, I had EBC yellows which only worked well when hot. I think you're doing it in the wrong order - to fix sponginess I'd go for braided lines and good fluid first especially if your brake lines don't look particularly new. Calipers are really expensive, and they won't fix the sponginess. For example, you could buy my halfsprung/unsprung for $3k and save yourself $2k. P.S. Are you buying my roof racks or not?

I impulse bought a PS3, so far it's mostly just been used by my parents for Blu-Ray. No problems so far, highly recommend getting the Playstation Bluetooth remote (don't get a copy, you lose a lot of functionality). Btw, PS3 is a bit funny about reading from USB - Google will tell you more.

Yeah sorry dude, sold the Professors, was approached with an offer I couldn't turn down! Go for the OZ wheels! They're badass!
-
Maybe - Not sure on time at the moment. Don't follow it too closely, progress is gonna be super slow because of this. I was doing 1:23 or 24 I think - but a a sh*t driver, so can't really be used as a benchmark. I'm mostly doing the undertray because I may as well make a aero'd sump guard and CADing helps me sleep Rear spare weel well will probably be cut out for diffuser. Will be asking Aero team for help - but apparently magic number is about 11 degrees to prevent seperation. Chur dude - I want to go composite aka carbon (probably prepreg twill), but I'll hit you up if that plan fails..

sh*t's pimp John - lemme know when you're free. Swaps for a E46 328i? lolololol
-
This is what I work on when I can't sleep (happens often). I want to move all driver controls 300mm backward so the E30 is less sh*t. Beginnings of new pedal box (design bits borrowed from 2009 F:SAE car) Shifter and seat mounts to come. Also, because the E30 has well, no underbody aero: Beginnings of new adjustable undertray - Would also like to cut all evidence of sunroof away and replace with 1mm composite sheet plexi'd in place.

Heya Kurt, what's your budget? There's a really tasty touring for cheap on Trademe

SSR Professors/Work Meisters?
-
Just to clarify, these wheels need adaptors for an E30. Unfortunately, I am not selling my adaptors either. The auction is just for 4 wheels and 4 centre caps only.
-
Traditionally, 3 piece wheels have poor brake clearance (it's sacrificed for the amount of dish). But I think some BBS LM's would be the way to go! (edit: That's if you're 5 stud)
-
Please buy these before I do. They're cheap as chips to rock around on in the meantime. What's your budget? You could probably fill and redrill these or these. Alternatively, the BBS RS reps I'm selling are $61 as of right now. My plan was to split them, paint them, and order big barrels from Wellington. But they don't fit my brakes. So you could do that plus adaptors will set you back ~$1000 if you put in the effort, and I hope you're going for a decent height so you can just include the adaptors in your cert. Seriously though, ballin' ain't cheap. The above options are pretty cheap compared felgen stuff, I'd happily take those 16x9 work wheels over any keskins or BBS RS's - especially when you could sell the RE11's for some decent coin!
-
Oh, I meant 30et or higher for VW Golf/MX5 fitment?
-
Just out of interest...will any be made in higher offsets?
-
Mum's decided to sell it again, considering part trades for a E30/Jazz/Echo/Fit/shoppping trolley. Sorry about the terrible pics, but they're all we have at the moment. Returned 7.6L/100km on a recent trip to Hamilton

Gah! BBS LM's....the one wheel that's eluded me so far And just 'cos I'm kicking myself for selling these (Also wishing my car wasn't a POS):
-
Holy f**k that's stiff. You should keep in mind that GC favours very very stiff spring rates, I think maybe they have ultra smooth pavement in the US...or they think weight transfer is the best thing in the world :S I'm still battling with spring rate selection myself...so far I gather that they should represent the front and rear weight distribution as well as an acceptable ride frequency - frequencies contribute to how controllable the car becomes. Remember a swaybar would add about half as much again to the roll stiffness...
-
My 17x9's at 17-20p only needed minor rolling on a PFL e30, so that might be a go-er if you manage to get some in that fitment? Will these 17's be the same faux 3piece design or a traditional 1piece basketweave?

Check out the Auction here Have some BBS RS Copies from Lineage Motorsport Japan. Have come off a BMW E30 that has 4x100 to 4x114.3 adaptors. Unfortunately, they do not fit over my front brakes (4 piston/300mm), and are up for sale. Set of 4 wheels. They are a multistud: 4 x 114.3 5x114.3 16x7.5 *Width is an estimation, measuring bead to bead, it is either a narrow 7.5" or wide 7" Unfortunately the offset is unknown. I would guess about 40p - 45p because it sits like a et20 to et25 wheel with 20mm adaptors on my E30.

Have a 205/55R16 Pirelli P6000 in as new condition (7mm+). Great for a spare. $50 Comes with a second, free, not so new twin.
-
Hmm, definitely like the shifter...but the price is a bit mental! Can't wait to see this done!
-
Lol, found some more wheels - 16x7.5 RS copies (the less time I get to drive it, the more I whore wheels apparently). These will probably be for sale soon though.
-
Just home from the workshop..thought I'd take a pic of new 15x7's 'cos I'm not used to sleeping this early...not convinced by weksos offset, but should handle better with a smaller kpi trail.
