Front Brake Pads and Rotors. About 50% life left in them. No warping/cracking. Rear pads, decent pad meat on them. I have upgraded so I don't need these any more. Looking for $50

Search reveals: click here You can try find which relay you need to check (may be a fuse/relay) Or you can also jump the wires like Cam and I did for my manual conversion.

What sort of modification needed to make 320i sound like this?
JiB replied to DFL's topic in General Discussion
+1 Any Redtop K or F series motor will sound that like that crossed with an S14 -
I think the Reventon is pretty cool concept, inside and out. But by god I think it's hideous

It is. It's called "Best Motoring International" I have a whole bunch of it. *cough* keyword BMI *cough*

lulz, far too many things in common. Phreaky.

The two most experienced drivers are in the BMW's. Keiichi Tsuchiya in the tuned 135i (Le Mans class winner, GT300, GT500, Formula 3, JGTC Grp A Champ) Naoki Hattori in the M3 (Formula 3 Champion, JGTC Champion) Most of the other drivers are new faces from GT300/500 and JGTC. The 350z didn't have much tussling to do, so it's lines etc would have been uninterrupted letting it pull ahead. If you have a look at the end, the M3 posts a slightly faster laptime than the 350z. The 350z is not really standard though, it's a Nismo edition...similar to an M car? But Best Motoring races are not the best way of comparing cars, the time attacks and fastest laps are probably better.
-
The M3 was never really meant to compete with supercars though...See? As for the fuji one, I have it on disc I can try upload it somewhere. The V10 M5 is definitely a match for supercars. Well, not hypercars, just good old fashion supercars. As for Japanese, ya I learnt it at school went to Japan and was pretty fluent....then stopped learning it and promptly forgot 99.9% of it haha.

Congestion zones ala London or Singapore would be great. IF -Our public transport worked like either of aforementioned countries -We have the money to do it -Our road system is the same -You can try get the public to approve of it So I don't see a congestion system in the near future. There has been reports done on it in '99, '01, '03, '05 to find alternatives such as this. But it isn't feasible at this point in time. Check out the Business Roundtable reports and the LTNZ ones. My 2c As for the traffic lights, if they can catch people doing something dangerous and make money off it then I say go for it. As long as the money goes back into the system to improve public transport or something.

In order: 1) Datsun 240ZG 2) BMW E30 M3 EvoIII 3) BMW 2002 Turbo 4) Lancia Integrale Evoluzione II 5) Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing Coupe 6) Lamborghini Miura P400 SV 7) Aston Martin V8 Vantage Much more realistically: 1) BEAMS 3SGE/1UZ-FE/SR20DET/2JZ-GTE/F20C powered E30 race car 2) 96 spec DC2 Type R or early '04 DC5 Type R 3) '92 1800 MX5 hardtop 4) Datsun 1600 SSS ....I'm weird...I know

Best motoring is choice! Try find the M5 vs Lambo's and stuff at Fuji if you can. That one was pure car porn! Hmm, the 135i drivers were complaining about understeer on entry and oversteer on exit? That's not promising....The suspension setup on the tuned 135i was hot though And wow, the 350Z really tore away! Was a Nismo version...but still, less power than the M3 and cheaper too. Amazing, pity they're not the most inspiring to drive. The poor S2000 (which was ruined by all the bits) was out of it's league! NA 2.2 vs 3.5+?

An acronym for D.... H.... A... 7 days a week 24 hrs a day perhaps?
-
Wow, if it's a genuine JPS E30....shouldn't you be keeping it as standard as possible? The black paint, pinstriping and gold BBS's have got to be the epitome of 80's pimp-cool I bet it goes pretty good too!
-
I would LOVE a personalised plate....but I can't possibly justify $700 on one If I could, I would probably go for something geeky.
-
scratch? polish? matt black? I think you mean spray can
-
If it's for an E30 By'Gone Autos have some precerted for less than $300? ish?
-
That's hardly inconspicuous, I'd be terrified if that were bearing down on my rear view mirror. I'm guessing it'd sound like a Norse God too!

But a phone that hasn't been locked from Singapore or something would still work on the Vodafone network right?

Wrong stud pattern for BMW's
-
They sound too big/wrong for the car? See what the forum suspension/tyre guru's say before you go ahead with them maybe.

Definitely LSD, I have no problems with traction in the rear. Even on 14" bottlecaps.

Braided lines vs larger master cylinder
JiB replied to CamB's topic in Brakes, Suspension & Steering
0, 1, 2 and 4 have been done. Got EBC Yellows all round, Znoelli S12's (Slotted, TTG and treated), Penrite RBF600, and braided lines from Mal at By'gone. Car's still bedding in both discs and pads. Will report back after driver's training on the 24th May. So far the brakes are almost normal. And I'll have a look and see if there's any way of reducing the give in that bloody long linkage. -
Pretty sure it's not. My friend with the N4GHTY accord had to have it unplugged for road use as well as a cert for it. From memory colder plugs give more gains with nitrous use, but performance suffers a bit without. This goes for all other aspects of tuning nitrous as well, it's always a compromise
