yeah , its in hamilton so i havent been able to inspect it, and he said the gearbox is clunky till it warms up. it looks good tho but i really dont wana get stuck with a lemon. its got the dreaded jatco auto box in it so the clunk could be the beginning of the end.

depends on condition etc, i dont wana pay too much if its auto cos first thing ill do is fork out to convert it, but was thinking between 6000-8500 so e46's are outta the question. Ill spend the money if i find a minter

yeah ive seen a few e34s but there all auto's or the ix models, the red one has faded paint on the roof and the grey one is just ugly, No one seems to have any e30's up for grabs? i put bids on the blue e34 on dtm rims but he mentioned that the gearbox takes time to warm up at first and its the japa box so its a ticking timebomb ild say.

wanted to buy touring wagon e30 or e34 Not keen for a 4 wheel drive one tho. only really keen for rear wheel. and must be 6 cylinder. prefer a manual must be stock standard, dont want a hacked up one, but lowered on tastefull rims is all good. pm me with prices ! cheers.

fitted a front kit was orginally in ruins but got it plastic welded back together, No idea what brand it is. just needs to be prepped and painted, Also removed all the door handles , re done the mechanisms so that its just a press down pin to open doors , Will be welding smooth all the door and key holes next.

i had my plates stolen, Got the newer type for 14$ easy as pie, but think you need a reason for changing them before you can get em

i paid around 70$nzd for a pair, postage included and fee for conversion of money by bank. didnt get any holders tho there extra. got them only a few weeks or so ago aswel.

e34s and e36s, Dramas with roof liners and door cards in almost all of them , Also auto gearboxes are duds . Japanese assembled ones are duds aswel. electrical issues. and extra expensive useless toyota time bomb automatic gearboxes are in them I think if you plan to buy an e36 you should make sure you get a manual german assembled one.

ok, the whining noise is caused by having power cables too close to signal cables, They create an inductance between them and cause the wining interference. Only other reason for the noise is if there amping an amped output from the head unit rather than using the rca output. Being a factory amp you shouldnt need to run new wires at all. if you have a weak speaker and a tweeter not woking its prob because there ment to be wired parallel on the same amp channel. As this will reduce resistance and allow for better sound output on the speaker. I could do the work if you need charge 20$ per hour. Im a qualified reged electrician and have been doing this kinda stuff for myself for years. By the sounds of things it could take a while to clean up your past installers mess tho, as there should be no need for new cables etc, really just depends how much they have messed around with. its ridiculous that they left the job half done, my guess is that they didnt know what they were doing. so cant say how long it will take to do untill ive seen it.

yeah thailands declared "state of emergency" at the moment so not too sure when it will be safe to go back. riots happening and the armys been sent out. so will prob give my usual November trip a miss this year and wait till Feb next year.

Dont mean to hijack either, But I read a while back that people wanted plates from gremanplates.com, I just ordered mine and they arrived sweet, so Im happy to order these plates for anyone whos keen for a small fee. Really just for those who dont have credit cards etc . Only thing i was a little worried about is that there zero font doesnt have a diagonal line in it, it still looks like a zero obviously and the o looks like an o just may bring a tiny bit more attention to the plate . prob wont be much of an issue just thought ild pre warn people , imo not many people will notice unless you have a black background plate anyway.

sussed german plates and started de spoilering the boot. Welded up holes and have just puttyed so far. still tons of work to go.

I can get the parts , most stuff is just really well made replica copies tho, But i dont accept them unless there really well made. even materials used are the same, bakelite and bbs etc. can also get the real stuff a lot cheaper than uk prices and a litter cheaper than usa prices but the replica stuff is just as good for a third or quarter of the price. Only problem is that unless im over seas at the supplier myself checking the parts and sending it myself it can get tricky and i dont think ill be back there till around november 2008 or march 2009. coupe ones seem harder to get, Ive only got them to suit four door e36s. brand new 65$ + 12$ postage for a pair. Maby try the guy in australia thats on trade me, He prob has them for the coupe e36.

Theres less good parts in south auckland and more bad parts tho. Ive never felt at threat in south auckland either but if i had a choice between remuera or manurewa i know ild be outta south in 2 seconds.

I had a few issues back when I lived in papakura, Had my car regularly broken into, Even when the face plate and radar was out. Also had my garage wall smashed in so they could get to my car in the garage and they basically stripped it and then keyed it from end to end. House broken into twice. Had 4 guys try to stand me over for my car. list goes on, Lived there for a long time but still pretty ruff there. Have lived in town and only had issues once with some drunks trying to break into all the cars on my street. Had had no issues when ive lived in eastern areas botany, howick and halfmoon. south auckland has the largest police station in auckland, that alone tell us how "safe" it must be haha.
