Doesnt matter how careful you are you will still probably scratch the tint while putting the glass back in the doors so i recommend you just go to tints in manukau if your in auckland.

Ive got a complete engine, with everything there loom intake etc, 1987 320i e30 Has been over heated and not sure what the damage has done tho. suspect head is blown. Pm and offer if your keen. or an offer on just the parts you need of it.

Have a south african e30 325i 1987 engine that will be comming out of my car soon if your keen, And are you after a manual or auto box? I have both. engine is complete with everything needed to run.

ccfl halo ring kit for e46 e36. They were the last set i had sitting around, I was selling them for 100$ a set, for 4 rings plus the power invertor units . They were listed to fit e36 and e46. Realistically they dont fit e30 as they are too thick by about 3-4mms but i just filled the gap with more sealant (for projector version e30 lamps) Can get more kits in if your keen just not too sure when exactly maby around 2 - 4 weeks time if im lucky

Chuurr, Did you sort that clutch cable out?

I think im going to wire up the projector lamps so they can use a double filament bulb so that the inner lamps are only there for looks or like just parks and the so outter lamps do the high and low beam

Have you shaved the door handles on your ride or is that just a photo shop jobby? Im pretty keen to do the same thing but not sure what im getting myself into , I can weld up the doors easy enough but not too sure what to so with the handle mechanism.

Lights finally finished, Took ages for the glue to dry. Painted the outter rings Gloss black also. Plus touching up bonnet as it wasnt quite perfect.

Still in the middle of an m50 e30 conversion Just sused the e36 manual gearbox but still need a few parts. So if anyone has these parts and prices let me know. E36 engine mount arms left and right to suit m50 engine. E36 shifter mounting bracket and shifter lever. ( already have the box ) E36 clutch and pressure plate. suit m50b25 engine Cheers Mike.

angel eyes just need to glue back on lenses , eyelids will hopefully hide the part where the angel eye rings stop.

haha yeah 240 degrees for around 20mins per 2 lenses. I made 1 really small chip in mine from trying to pry them too soon but once they were cooked they poped off no sweat . not sure how ill go with wofs with all of them smoked tho but the cars reged as a wof exempt vehicle at this stage anyway so ill worry about that later.

todays effort, Half finished but will add photos as i go. Home made smoked angel eye headlights Used e46 angel eye kit to do this. first i had to seperate the glass, by far the hardest part of this project. ( dont try this unless you know what your doing or you will break the glass) Then painted some parts black, and fitted in angel eye rings. Then placed back together

the e30 is a family car and is a completely different car to the e30 m3 . Im talking about the e30 M3 specifically as a race based car.

The most notable characteristic of the E30 M3 (relative to later M3 iterations) is its racing pedigree. It was campaigned by BMW as well as other racing teams including Prodrive and AC Schnitzer competing in many forms of racing including but not limited to Rally, DTM, Australian touring car and other series. One of the main reasons for production of the road car was to homologate the M3 for Group A Touring Car racing. One of the reasons often cited for its creation was that it was to compete with the "2.3-16V"-model of the Mercedes-Benz W201 190E which was introduced in 1983, as i was saying the M3 e30 was designed to be a race car, Not a family car. If you wanted a race spec e36 you would have to get the special requested csl model Otherwise its really just based on the e36 325i four door coupe imo.

e30 will always be more rare and more valuable, Easier to fix , less electrics that can fizz out , decent gearboxes All are german assembled And were built based on a race car not a family car like the e36 sort of is. e36s are just too common and have too many faults such as the sagging roofs and all the jap assembled ones have gearbox and electrical issues. And it always seems to be the same probs through all of the e36s not just a hand few. The e36 m3 is an awsum car but it is just too similar to the family edition e36. So my vote goes to the e30 m3s

There off a different car, not a bmw, I planned to get lots of sets of them to sell off but wanted to be sure they fitted first, They fit ok at first but a little tight so had to cut them a bit to fit otherwise theres too much pressure on the plastic lens where you screw them on, but only by a few mm's
