i think 330i weigh lots more than that can anyone comfirm book says e36 328i weigh about 1350kg but more like 1400kg e46 are a bigger body , a bit more ali is used , but the 330i have larger brakes , driveshafts , diff etc etc , cant see how they could weigh that little interesting my e28 m535i is listed as 1395kg in the book , but my mate weighed his at 1490kg on the scales. i supose by the time you add , aircon , bigger 17" wheels , sunroof , electric windows etc etc

ah yes , my other uk import 530i i had a while back had the same heater panel etc , this is actually a better setup , less issues and better dials and knobs , doesn't have the silly cables like the older 525i etc have either. and not those stupid toggle wheels and sticky selector switches. that the nz spec 535i 540i 735i 740i 750i etc came with also doesn't have the stupid sword resistor for the fan.

talk to mosens , there e46 GTR replica race car has one in it , they did cams and other stuff and is making real decent HP . oh and above the 1st pic shows first remap std run and after remapped with medium diff next pic shows after a large case diff was fitted
-
my old red 544i e34 5spd , light flywheel med diff made 190rwkw with 490Nm of torque , lost about 6kw when swapped to the larger diff and axles etc. pretty free flowing exhaust (just a e32 750i centre muffler with a bean can rear box) std headers was a m62b44 from a 96 e39 540i had 180k's on it ran fine was setup on the e34 loom and motronic ecu then remapped even before we mapped it i think it was about 182rwkw std in e39 they are about 170rwkw
