your starter is ok, but you will need to weld a pick up on to the flywheel for the sensors to work

e30 325i 320i rad id the saem as e36 325i 320i rad in the early e36 . i have e30 rad in my 92 e36 325ci , same unit . e30 uses seperate different expansion tank . e30 and e36 cross member look very simlier(steereing rack , arms etc ).so i think you need e36 mounting arms .

its not realy modified , just used a e36 engine M40 engine , they are just the same as e30 m40 engine , all bolted in the same and runs all the e30 ecu , wiring , alt , starter etc etc .only difference is the motor is not that old and has low k's on it (122,000km).came from a 92 car other than that , its a good straight car . i think he wants $2500 . has 14" bottle caps , but i have some 14" basket weaves availible

i agree , i had a 530i e34 V8 for a short while, no way would it do 100km/h in 6.4 secs , maybe your engine has been replaced with the 4L engine , they look the same . std 530i v8 has 160kw , same power as e28 m535i 160Kw and they weigh about 1380kg and do 100Km/h in 7.2 manual and 7.8 in auto . the 34 530i v8 weighs about 1600kg and has less torque than the 6cyl 3.5L engine that's in the older e28 . maybe check your engine numbers from underneth and see if its a 4L block . or check the ecu model number and see if it matches the 4L v8 number etc . the e34 535i 6cyl weighs about 1500kg has 155kw std and does about 7.8 for a 5spd manaul and about 8.8 in a auto .. i know the 5spd auto's in the V8's have a short first gear to get them off the line quicker ..

oh , by the way i think the ZF box might be a 1:1 top gear ratio( maybe only in m50 powered e36 not e34 525i m50) . so you might need a lower gear ratio diff .

it has no springs ,because you have it mated to a dual mass flywheel (very heavy) .the flywheel is made from 2 parts with rubber dampers between to take up the shock when lifting off the clutch pedal . i would sawp that over for a e30 M20 320i flywheel(much lighter) and fit new 325i clutch or proformance one . when i converted my e36 325i coupe to manual , it also had dual mass flywheel , so i swapped it over for e30 one and also had to fit e30 325i starter to match the flywheel teeth

if it has a new or good thermostat , temp normally goes up quickly to half way

if you fit it to my e36 325ci and hook it all up , i will give ya $500cash

hi , i have an early diff from a 82 525i or 520i 3.64 ratio i think , has centre rear diff mount ( from memory ) med case . have others availible 021433600

they are replica typr M5 alloys , so are those ones that were on TM

both those look like e36 offset .e36 and e28 are different . i like these .

switch the auto switch to M for manual . then it holds it in gears even if you take off in 3rd it wont change down . but just buy a manual or convert yours far better . tiptronic is only a marketing thing to try and sell auto's .

my freind is selling a 1990 (i think) fl e30 318i 5spd coupe , white with new low k's e36 engine just fitted .leather tape /cd stacker etc . i think he will want a bit more than $2k though ...
