5 speed is a ZF unit found only in e34 530i v8 e39 535i v8 e32 730i v8 e38 730i and 735i v8 you can tell the V8 boxes by the large flat top on the bellhousing

looks good , I have some new genuine chrome in stock also of the plastic moldings if you need cheers brent

just put in a good factory one they last 10-15years

don't know , but I do have some e12 1977 525 manual window regs if they are any help for parts

yea my mate has always wanted 540i but only wanted a good well cared for tidy one just the mtec kit yes have to go through the rereged process not anymore yea manual would be nice , but I don't think my mate can afford that cost unless I give him a kit yes nice build spec , sport seats , sports suspension , but could do with some new shocks now

just needs the bumper sorted and its back on the road

front bumper will be repaired , I have others also , in black , silver , grey , blue etc . diff will be the std 3.64 I suppose which is what most jap import 323i 328i autos have

just picked this up for a mate does anyone know the history of it ? looks to have been well cared for etc nz new ac schnitzer wheels , exhaust etc sport suspension , sport seats , m3 type mirrors etc

ok $1200 for the bare shell fairly rust and damage free make a good donar shell if you have a rusty e30 but with good running gear will leave the carpet and wiring loom brake lines etc for more $$$ I can sell with the doors ,gaurds , boot lid lights . front panel , grilles soft top etc . oil cooler setup for m20 $150

just replace the viscous , easy done and they last ages.

completely different units , not compatible pic of M20 325I E30 TYPE small dowel pins , clutch disc has springs in it . larger top hat pressure plate m50 dual mass type , shallow top hat , large dowel pins , clutch disc has no springs in it also diameters vary depending on engine size etc

filled it up (man these things can drink), washed it, drove it and changed the rear tyres. now can actually accelerate it with the DSC light going nuts

not sure guess $4-5k not mint but would tidy up ok

my mate has a 540it that might be up for sale in the future , he also has other 525it in various states
