hondas are bulletproof ive seen a few of these with no engine work done apart from a turbo bolted on being driven very (VERY) hard. they love it. i met a guy a while ago that has done a few conversions, honda engine into E36 bmws. bolt on a turbo kit and bobs your nana, fast strong engine. while a lot of people here wont like that, you have to admit it can be a cheap / safe way to insert big HP into a bmw.

pretty dumb but could hapen to anyone i guess. good idea for a new thread though... whats the most stupid thing you have done to your car and what did it cost to fix?

im trying to get an idea of how much space there is behind a MTec2 front spoiler for intercooler placement. can someone please measure length / height / depth for me??? measurements between the 2 arrows (see pic) would be sweet.

so thats about 13 lbs... mine was about 12lbs but i didnt like it, felt like the car lost a lot of grunt and i was forever changing gear. it was a lot of fun but i missed the 3rd gear "pull" i had with the standard flywheel. chuck it in you might like it and its easy enough to change it back if you dont.

just need something i can lock for the drag racing at paraparaumu in march
