have you considered going into E30 parts? there seems to be a lot of people on here with E30's having trouble finding quality parts. i know ive placed more then a few orders with Ireland Engineering in California. they seem to be one of the few places with good parts and pretty good service. i know im not the only one here using these guys and theres a lot of E30s around with owners looking for parts. it wouldnt take much for someone who was a bit pro-active to pretty much own the new zealand E30 market. i know new zealand isnt a very big market, and the E30 side is pretty small but it is getting bigger everyday with young guys buying E30's and wanting to modify them, suspension, computer, camber correction bla bla just a thought

if your pretty happy with your car and only want a "bit more go" the best bet would be to find a 2.5 they go pretty good. it would be a good first step, if you still want more after that you can always turbo the 2.5 im sure theres someone in your area that has a 2.5 that can take you for a spin so you can see what they go like. i think youll find a 2.5 will do what you want hope this helps if you still want to do a turbo project let me know i have tons and tons of info on this.

try bmw turbo link it will give you the basics but to be honest its not the best. (if i remember he used bolts from a hardware shop for his head) its a start

the only limiter i have ever found came in the form of a little man in a funny hat with big flashy lights on his car.... he can cut in anywhere from about 109km still havnt found how to remove this but if i do ill let you know
