Honestly I don't think you'll be disappointed, I had loads of fun in mine. Just don't use it as a daily, they aren't that practical IMO.

If you owned it for that price I think you couldn't go wrong, but be weary of the dealer, I've enquired about cars of his before and he's not easy to deal with, also he had on his auctions some time back that he was closing down. There was just something that wasn't right about him. That car has been for sale for a long time, if not 8-10 months. Given it's listed at only 60k cheaper which isn't much if you take into account it's more than a year old, an import and comes with complicated warranty issues and no servicing arrangement's, a random dealer with no formal yard HERE this is probably putting most buyers off. Have you considered NZ New 2nd hand cars i.e Something like this?

The latest LED's are more comparable IMO. No they aren't as nice of a light as Halogen yet However, running your whole house on them will make for considerable savings if you look at is as a yearly thing. Outside my house I have 5 low wattage energy savers which run for 8 hours a night lighting up the decks and yard. At 14cents per day for that 8 hour period it only uses about $50 bucks a year, if I use incandescent bulbs that price would be more than $370 per year, but be changing bulbs quite a fair bit. Here's the side effect of running low energy bulbs and appliances, they obviously use less and as they become more available the general power demands on the grid decrease - so what do they do? Put the prices up! Same with cars, cars probably use half as much fuel as cars sold 20-30 years ago, consumption subsides, prices go up!

Damned good looking car, GLWS.

I was thinking they'd done the cooling system, the service was some $900 or so from memory. Will double check what that light is but basically it's a picture of a tank with a water level. Cheers.

I'm driving a BMW 320d E46 as my daily lately. It had a full BMW service about 11 months ago and is due one in about 4000kms. I thought I'd check the oil/water, oil was fine but the water seemed to be quite low? However there seemed to be a grey type pulp underneath the radiator cap. Can anyone enlighten? Also, what do I topup the coolant with just standard anti-freeze? Also, the little yellow light is coming up on the dash which I'm guessing suggests that the water level is low?

Please supply us with a result? I'm kinda dying to know what you have on your driveway!

My father in law has three Corollas (2003 versions) NZ New, manuals. I can't describe how much punishment these cars have been dealt with with 12-15 male staff hammering them day in day out. CV joints are all that's been replaced on two. Reliable motoring, but not very refined if that's what you're after and they sound like they are sitting on 5000rpm at 100kph.

I was due to have a look at this car and spoke to the guy on the phone, he's had it for quite a while, U.K import but very tastefully specc'd IMO. I betcha it hauls some German ass too.

I bought the apple because it was piss easy to use, I've had iPhone's since a month after they came out in NZ. Never had a fault with them, they feel well made. I especially like the hotspot option on my old 4, this meant I could do away with internet services at our other property saving more than $100 per month and with 3GB of data and only 80 per month + 120 anytime minutes, unlimited after hours e.t.c. it was a no brainer. Is it possible to provide pictures of this tanty over the size of yours?

I'm running a 4s but a phone is a phone to me, I hate the damned things. Have you tried : And :

This is how I've set mine up. The camera vans are normally in the same place, either a wine red or grey Hyundai van. They stand out like nothing else, K band disabled thanks.

Mine were 50watts, replaced with 3watt bulbs, I thought it was 8watt, 8watt LED in the lounge, in saying that the lounge has 12 downlights at 8 watts =96watt as a pose to 1.2kw if they incandescent 100watt bulbs. Not entirely relevant, I hate the wife leaving the lights on in the kitchen, when I have mates around in the garage drinking I run 2x 2200watt roof mounted heaters which I always forget to turn off at night. Actually I don't want to get off topic here but this website might raise a few eyebrow's : Visit My Website

What ever you choose, the very best way of protecting yourself is a inbuilt system, i.e 4 front and rear facing detectors in bumpers. After having this and going back to my high end Beltronics, I'd prefer the inbuilt system.

Yus, I have eight of them in my kitchen, they were using 50watt's each, now they are 8 watt each and it's hard to notice the difference in lighting. That and I've never blown a bulb in the year that they've been in. So, 400watt's vs 64watt's My wife is constantly leaving the lights on in the kitchen, we're 50sqm open plan also. This is a good deal, I paid about $35 each a year ago... Visit My Website

Rear axle & setup's are different, gearbox is different, engine is different, from the dash forward they are the same but there isn't a massive amount to go wrong dash forward.

I think you've either gotta love it or hate it, I like my shine!

I have about three years ago, a 98 Boxster 2.5 manual NZ New. Not sure on servicing as I made sure it was done prior, but it can't be too much more than a BMW? I know they're cheaper than a 911.

It's the same with Mercedes, why can't they just have the numerals coincide with the engine displacement? I was reading up on the U.S specs, should have checked the BMW NZ site, but it was down lastnight.

Until the next gen of diesels come about, the petrols seem to be doing it for the moment. IMO they will go tri-turbo on the diesels. Gotta remember : yes the same 0-100 time (125i and 123d) but the 123d is a 2.0twin turbo 4 pot, the 125i is a 3.0 straight six twin turbo. Given that, how the f**k are they getting those consumption figures on a big turbo charged petrol???
