In theory yes they should all have the same standards because they are all governed by the same rules. My inlaws own a WOF centre here in Dunedin who do 50-80 cars a day and their difference is the fact that if a bulb, wiper, rack boot need replacing for a WOF for example they will do it on the spot. They also have a repairs garage which extremely cost effective pricing i.e service on most 4 cylinder cars for 75 dollars. So Cliff, go there next time - it's locally owned & operated and they aren't arrogant mongrels.

You haven't been to New World carparks then? + 344 for ordering food, we use Fresh Choice quite often.
-
What a cheek, fark. I would have driven off with the boxes on the boot still. Normally when someone is parking and has their door open they are technically driving. Say you were drunk and the cops seen you in the car with the keys in the ignition and door resting on another car you'd techincally be DIC. Also LOL, you don't have to be technically driving to not be a driver. I'm a driver but just not behind the wheel at the moment!

Classic, if someone nudged my X5 I'd eat them - the'd be wishing they never got out of bed that morning.

I always park farthest away from the shop in a carpark, quite often I make my wife stay in the car LOL - saves money too, she can't shop if she's in the car LOL. In that instance though, there was heaps of room and no other parks anywhere so I had little choice. She got an earfull, perhaps over the top. I would still have been pissed off even if it was my $4000 dollar Escudo. EDIT: I bloody hate people resting on cars and if I ever caught someone doing it on mine I'd loose my temper aswell. I guess some people just don't get it. Years ago at a piss up I was at a mate of mine had his car parked where we were drinking, people were leaning against his car and in the morning you could see the damage it had done with the studs from peoples jeans rubbing against the paint. If I'm on the piss in my garage with mates over they get bottled if the lean against my rig. Me mates are pretty on to it though, the realise that my cars are not to be f**ked with haha.

Out for dinner tonight as you do, afterward I thought it would be a good idea to go somewhere and have a coffee with the inlaws. We parked in the Octagon here in Dunners and once we'd finished our coffee, we left and was walking to the car when I noticed this woman with her car door resting on ours! I couldn't FKN believe it, so I walked faster and said OI, Get your F#$***% car door off my car! Walked up checked for damage, none luckily but just the sheer arrogance of this woman wound me up because she knew that it was resting on it. She said, ahhh sorry, these parks are tight. My response to that was I couldn't care less, try parking to your left further and not trying to deliberately damage someone elses property! All said, I'm sure some of you guys have come across a similar incident. /rant - I'm still shaking my head

If I had to get a people mover my money would be going on one of THESE I've driven one and they are excellent in terms of grunt (same engine as VW Touareg R5) and build quality.

For all we know, it could be a she! My bad.

From the horses mouth ^^^ 4.8 must be nice but I'm just set on a diesel, have one now and I think they're brilliant in terms of usable around town power, that they they are economical. IMO I don't think a large petrol SUV makes sense. I have a courier guy that comes in who has a Mercedes 320CDI van, I always wave to the guy and he knows me and my car, a few months ago, I was heading up the notorious saddle hill 3 lanes a side hill and went flying past him doing a very illegal speed and caught up with him the next day and we got talking about the X5 and he goes ahh, what size V8 is it?!?! I said nah brother, it's a DIESEL! Quite simply his mouth dropped - enough said LOL

Right outside the DIY capitol of NZ "know how - can't do" - yet he clearly failed at the installation of his fake M badge. Would hate to see his home DIY.

Yeah very nice, the last of the old shape isn't that bad though. One of those with the 3.0 twin turbo diesel must absolutely howl!
-
I've seen heaps of these in the past few weeks alone. Last one was a 09 Hilux SR5 double cab 4x3 with 50km for 15grand LOL Why dont they just ban accounts being made from overseas IP addresses? Proxies included.
-
Yeah, I think the Cayenne is an acquired taste though, the first version of them I think looked foul. There are some good looking E53's out there, like MINE for example
-
The 4.0d will have (442lb ft) 600nm at any rate, no real upgrade at all really from the current E70 diesel range, that & the E53 is lighter which is why to be honest my 53 is alot more livelier with the chip done than the single turbo E70. 600nm in the 53 is plenty LOL, I've driven a Touareg V10 (750nm) before and they go well, but the Bimmer seems to deliver it better and feels more powerfull, probably a weight thing. The facelift 4.0d (3 litre straight 6 diesel) will be doing the 0-100kph run in 6.6 seconds and will have a new 8 speed trans, and do and on to a top speed of 240kph . Prices on these will be too far out of my range anyway. I'm not buying new, would ideally like something 07-08 with 50km ish. ^^^ some pretty impressive figures for a big unit.

The colour takes the man pole on that one IMO. Nice E30 with E34 body kit, E34 interior e.t.c...
-
My life until today wasn't worth living, absolutely brilliant!!!! Never knew they existed, wonder if there's any in NZ?!?1 85kw 220nm it wouldn't have been that bad either.
-
They don't make a diesel version... Bimmersport members dislike non BMW owners
-
Fail Clinton is fail. Where the hell did I get the LHD from??? I should really stop drinking in the mornings.
-
LOL, yeah, the signature would suggest that you run a M530i
-
LHD simply f**ks it for me. I've driven a LHD a few times and it's like trying to wire a plug with boxing gloves, trying to manhandle a elephant up a staircase, it's truely horrible. Any ideas on what it would cost to convert?
-
300,000km + that's quite alot... Looks ok though, would suggest it's checked out.

HAHA! Seller is bang on, because no one would bother opening a can of Fosters in it's transit!

Visit My Website Europlate too, could be the go for someone here. Don't let some 316i owner with M3 wingmirrors buy it LOL.
