I think I seen this for sale a while ago and used pics of it to send to my dealership to price the rear aero pack for my X5. They're about 600 bucks so pretty reasonable.
-
Totally missed this, epic ride mate, massive fan of those 4.6's they haul!
-
Yes it has been worked, worked with by an absolute tool by the looks. Fark.. shaking head.
-
Rear numberplate installation FAIL : Please re-perform installation.

I rekon it will look epic. I'm a fan personally of the origonal car & whilst it does look alternative, most supercars are alternative & don't suit everyone's eyes. Another big reason the car is that shape is for pure aerodynamics and engine/intercooler intakes. It needs to be said that it would be best suited to a 1985 Corolla DX 1800cc 1C Diesel engine & chassis sporting leaf springs.

That is truely ROFL. Redknecking at it's very best here. Too much time on their hands.
-
I gather this is just to protect it's own industry I suppose. Yeah sorry, I did mean E36 in being built in SA & Deutschland.
-
I thought they were all Germany & SA? Recently found out that my X5 was made in EDIT: South Carolina, USA.
-
+355.2 They are ready to race IMO - why people muck with them is beyond my understanding.

No one wins here lady. The only thing that wins is the advertiser.

I dunno mate, I'm in business and there's a difference between a business and a rip off merchant, those rise in fees for flatmates/rental properties/real estate are over the hill and I can't see it's justification. TM Must turnover atleast 200million per year from fees and advertising. I can't see their overheads being massive with their premises and 150 or so staff & bandwidth. There has to be a good reason as to why they don't publically announce their turnover P/A. 5 Years ago TM was brilliant. You could pickup a cheap car, like really cheap, now the REAL bargains have gone and I can only imagine (other than more people using it) that the prices of the auction fees & success fees have created a huge limitation to people that can't afford to list their cars on TradeMe. I'm sure it used to be like $9 to list your car on there. I think it's been turned into an institution say like Telescum which is far more focused on turning a profit as a pose to creating great customer service & a great product even though at that level they can still do both (turn a profit & provide a good product & service) The Aussies need hardcore competition & yesterday. Lets hope Sella can come to the party, it does look promising, smaller growth rate ofcourse but then again, TradeMe started in the game in NZ when there was little or no competition. Clinton's 2 cents

Looks tough, but makes me really wonder why they never mass produced them I mean, practical, and performance can be said in one sentence when it comes to Euro's.

The fees are over the hill full stop. They used to be realistic. Ever since those pricks from Fairfax bought it the fees have continued to rise and rise without any justification. I recently sold something for just under 850 bucks and it was like in total including listing fees of around $55 which is ridiculous. To list and sell a car at auction you need to fork out nearly $100!!! I wish there was a healthy numbered alternative - I'd switch to them in a heartbeat.

Yeah mate, the X5 has had no issues, it's been trouble free motoring. Driving today in today's weather down here illustrated to me that the M5 would have been as good as a vagina full of cold snow. Even worse with the winter coming along.
-
Love that numberplate style mate, how long have you had this for? Would never have known. Very very sharp car Apex, nice.

Wife mainly. They rekon they have the right to have a say aswell, dunno who came up with that. She's kinda ok with me getting an E70 when the come into the 80k price bracket, so I'm frantically looking for a decent NZ New 3.0sd but nothing around! I'd own it this weekend but I must admit that the X5 is a far more practical unit.
-
LOL sincere apologies. I might be able to cough that up on the fuel savings
-
After some lengthy discussions with wife (wife that wants an X5 not an M5 ) we've decided that comon sense & practicality must prevail. The X5 covers everything I need at the moment, the M5 would be a great toy though. I suggest that if anybody is in the mood for an M5 then this is a bargain if you look around.

And now for something completely different....

What did Jeremy Clarkson say? "It looks like a council house at Christmas" I Like em though, not sure they would suit my car but I rekon they'd be the go for a E36. -

What the bloody hell is that??? I'd be very interested to see what these lights look like on a car. I do like the LED strip lights coming out on some new cars personally. Just make sure that these lights have adjusters for up/down left/right otherwise you will fail your WOF. -
Hahaha! Mates of mine shake their head every time I get a new car, I just tell them I've been with the same woman for 11210920120911029019092.7 years I can change my cars every 3 months.

Any way of seeing if the car has blue tooth for mobile phones? Has: • Dual Climate Control • DVD • TV • Cruise Control • In-Car Phone • Parking Sonar • Tyre Pressure monitor • Heated Seats • Electric Memory Seats • Auto Xenon Headlamps/Auto wipers • Navigation • UO Heads up display • CD Player • CD Stacker • Sunroof • Dynamic Stability control • 8 Airbags

He traded the car late last year Also they are wanting 5k in their direction which means I get my money back for my car that I paid in FEB.
-
I just spoke to BMW. They say that the car needs to be plugged into a BMW diagnostics computer to view what needs to be done. They told me that they don't have a shelf or km life, it's when they are tired and the computer will print out what needs done. He's advised a BMW pre-purchase inspection.

Fark I understood none of that! Quit your jibber jabber fool.
