I can't say I'd spend 100k on a replica, I'd rather spend another 50k and get a Modena if it had to go the yellow label.

Damn she still looks good. Was an excellent handling & power package that Audi, in pristine condition aswell. Visit My Website

EDIT: I can't even remember posting these, jeez!

I've spoken to the owners wife and he paid $5k for it late last year, he was looking after it for a friend who had it stored for 13 years and then bought it, sent it to a mechanic and it had another 5k spent on getting it up and running. I haven't picked it up yet but they assure me it's in great order, it was in very good nick before it was cleaned up anyway. Put it this way, what else V12 can you get for $3500?

It's pretty hard for alot of us to understand. The person that put no miles on it is more than likely not interested in parading the car around, he/she would just appreciate it in the garage. Things you can touch investment wise have gone up in this "recession" thing as people are spending money on cars/real estate e.t.c. instead of stocks.

Needs his balls cut off so he can't contaminate the rest of the world... where have I heard that from? I've blacklisted the clown aswell just incase.

Giving this a small try, might get it for a bargain - never owned a V12 before - does anyone know anything about them? The shop next door to mine owns it currently, the poor chap died at Christmas time. The car sat for virtually 13 years in the shed behind my work, it's done an original 88k miles and is in pretty good order. Dunno if I'll own it for the money I have to spend at the moment. Why wouldn't you swap with that guys SS Commodore? Seriously, there's always one Nice car, great price, GL with the sale.
-
Nice, has to be one of the best number plates I've ever come across, but what the hell with 9 different number plates in the cars history? Being a 3246cc are these regarded as a 3.3 or a 3.2 ? EDIT: once again, sh*t that's nice, love the colour of the interior!

That guy is simply a f**ken muppet.

Yep, different branches of the same company, makes things very difficult.

There's worse than that guy. If he didn't know it would do the world of good if he'd just spend 2 seconds rearching BMW's or E36 in general. There's far far worse than that guy! Very close indeed but isn't there alot of components which are different which would suggest a bigger picture, i.e, the people that stay away from imports stay away because of resale value, speedo/radio, uncertain service history, salt roads or muggy conditions, uncertain vehicle ownership history e.t.c... obviously most of those don't apply to this car because it was imported before it was used. Where absolutely possible I would buy a NZ New car, this would be one of the few examples that I'd take exception. Looks a super car & in red it looks even better.

Anything high performance I'd suggest BP Ultimate, I've ran this on every high performance car I've owned with good results. It totally transformed my HSV GTS Commodore, it must have been on 91 or 95 prior.

An XJ40??? BAHAHAHAHAHA! Stay the hell away, someone there said they are rust buckets, I rekon they're abortion buckets. Seriously, stick with a BMW/Mercedes if you want European mate.

We've owned more Subaru's than I can count on both hands & we've never owned one without engine problems, mostly headgaskets blowing, they were all well below the 150km mark with the exception of one, NZ New mostly. You're seriously lucky that you have no rattles on your 230km vehicle whatsoever. Even my E53 at 93km has a couple of rattles, my E60 that had about 20km on it had rattles, CLK55 which was a 200k + car had rattles at 70km, Porsche 986 with 60km had rattles, my 2007 HSV GTS Commodore with 17km on it had terrible rattles e.t.c..
-
IMO, I'd buy nothing over 200km, preferably under 100km or even 50km. My reasoning behind this is because things after that mileage do tend to be worn be it the interior, exterior, engines, gearboxes start becoming tired. To back this up, we used to have 2 work cars, 01 Mondeo's both cars had done the exact same work, same drivers, one had done 50 something k's the other 230kms the difference between the two cars was immense. Little or no rattles in the lower milaged car, smoother gear changes, smoother ride, quieter engine, tighter suspension, so wear & tear interior/exterior wise. That's just my 2 cents, it's a personal thing probably, but if someone wants a car done 300km + then it's entirely up to them!

Yeah, I've got the TV screen on my 2005 X5 and it has the cassette player behind it, I never intend to use it lol.

Personally LHD is an instant turnoff. Love the colour though.

These don't come up often in E46 - but dayim! this is an aweome example!!! Visit My Website

I'm keen on a set of these, wondering if anyone has done this? If it's hard to do and weather or not it's made a decent amount of difference to warrant the $$$ Cheers! Visit My Website

Yeah I think it kept up well with the bike, amazing that it out handled on the corners LOL, obviously the bike had the speed off the line.

You's have probably already seen this but here it is if you haven't!

That guy wasted his batteries on his camera when he took those pics. That car is horribad & looks like something poking out of my wheely bin on collection day.
-
Creeping up in the k's but yeah pretty fairly priced I rekon. Looks brilliant in red! If it's k's then it's very good buying, carjam says NZ New? Look how how many bloody personalised plates have been on the bastard!

Don't want to poke my dumbass nose in here but does the ECU on the E46 have a cooling fan? Is it powering off?
