I've always taken all my euro stuff to K.G McLeod in Waverley. He's a gun up there (Alan) he can tell you what the fault is by hearing it or within minutes of you arriving, how much it will roughly cost and how long. They are also very cheap.

I hate chrome wheels on a euro/japanese car. It has f**ked any good looks that 318 had. Why do people advertise that it has a VTNZ warrant???
-
Absolutely stunning. I'm not after anything special, I'd probably got the V8 tidy and red/black preff... Just need a bigger garage.
-
The million dollar question is, how reliable are they? I can imagine them being bloody expensive to fix/repair/parts e.t.c.
-
+452.3 I'm keen for a nosey on it. I have to admit these 8 series are starting to grow on me. I'm gonna have to look into getting a bigger garage!
-
Not sure if anyone will remember but that black 8 series with the number plate D0ZEN. It had at the top of the plate Dirty and the plate was D0ZEN. That was the best looking 8 that I've ever seen. That was a cheap car too. I think if I ever bought one it would have to be a 850 Has anyone ever driven a 850? what do they pull and handle like? Could you compare them to a CLK 55 AMG?
-
More than entitled to ones opinion I guess, but seriously, they can't look better than a real X5/Prado
-
They're not like the series 1 landrovers that are deliberately compensated for driver weight so when your out of the car it looks like its sitting up higher on the drivers side ha?
-
I'm the same, I'd rather one of those over a M3 or M5 (money wise) They've got an exclusive look about them, surely they won't devalue much further and that one being NZ new should be a bit more desirable than some Jap/Sing import.
-
You rekon the Chinese unit is a better looking car than the origonal X5? BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
-
Wonder if it's 2 or 4 stroke?
-
I'm suprised that BMW and Toyota or any other manufacturer would put up with that. They may be protected under chinas wing. It's pretty bad IMO, the bastards need some originality.
-
Was on Wiki as you do on a Friday and came across this: X5 Ripoff Looks bloody similar to an E53, but if you look at the interior pics, the doors are X5 but the dash is Landcruiser Prado.

Chalk & cheese in comparing a Peugeot to a VR6. For their day they were awesome.
-
Hmm with that sized car probably not alot of difference, be much smoother with the auto I rekon, torquey motors are always better with auto's (personally)
-
Would be a great run-around but probably superb on a trip too, well most BMW's are

& the owner from mental care.

Sigh, then don't post. They're rather different taken into consideration of the various different components & CAR size............. There's always one.

It shags it lol, I'd remove it.

Few clicks but could be good for someone trying to save some money. E36

Thats nice, great colour, best mags & whited out indicators & NZ NEW! Any chance of more pictures? I'm not going to buy it but I think it would do you a world of good to put more pics up, that & I want to be nosey! Cheers.
-
Looks great, but only needs two things that I rekon would finish it off... literally - a 10 litre jerry can of petrol and a match.
-
Cheap HP, ditch those blacked out wheels & after market lights and it would look win.
-
I still wouldn't. Maybe this is my old 28 years old age talking, I'm just so distantly interested in these kind of cars. The Porsche YES, the Neeesan, NO. I really just can't understand why someone would need a car like that Nissan in their lives, what purpose it would serve other than unreliability & severely poor fuel consumption.

I used to get the jug cord when I was a kid and #@!$%@#$ did it hurt. It meant I hardly ever put a foot out of line. Even though corporal punishment had dissapeared in the 80's I still used to get the 1 meter wooden ruler over my head if I played up at school. Creating solid boundaries can only be a good thing, go over those boundaries and face the penalties & consequences, simple. But with some families perhaps the boundaries are being set the the penalties & consequences are not been followed thru...
