At 100kph + I get a shudder in my E53. I've had the wheels balanced about 5 times now so it can't be those. The passengers seat (when empty) actually shakes back & foward. Just wondering if anyone knows whats happening? Cheers.

Yeah thought so, it has to be too cheap??? I thought something like that was 80+

Jeeze, I wonder if he'd swap my X5 for it! I'm no expert on these, but there's more than one in NZ or is this the same red cab that we've seen on here before?

That's a great looking one, seen it a few times here in Dunedin. But yeah, as above we really need the versatility of the Touring, they seem to hold their value better too? Found this, not interested in it because of the mileage but forget the ultimate driving machine for a second and hello ultimate looking machine! Visit My Website

We've had our Mazda 6 now for a few years and it's creeping up to about 140km which is starting to get up there. Wife is pretty keen on a 3 series touring E46 (needs the space for the kids stuff) Just wanting to know what to look for, we'd prefer NZ new but I know that's not going to happen very easily or cheaply. She does high k's every year with her work (90% open road work) Would it be suitable to have a 318i or a 320i 325i or 328i? Because of the high k's we'd prefer as cheap as poss (running costs) We can't justify spending the money to get a 320d or similar (although it would be nice) I drove a E46 this week (loan car) 318i and it went very well for a 4 cylinder. Can anyone be honest enough to tell us if they are a reliable car? Does anyone know if a 3 series would be safer than a Mazda 6? (car takes my 9 month and wife 800km a week) Budget is aprox 15k but prepared to spend a little bit more to get the right car. Hey, if you find some examples, post them!

Dont know it, but it looks a bloody good low km NZ new unit. Top dollar for it, but then again, be prepared to pay that if it is a genuine good one.
-
Yer, might look a bit confusing... See where your coming from. Client of mine has a his & hers Swift, the sport version, high yellow and a white one, they look rather good for that type of car.

Whats wrong with RED ? Red!

I looked at the basemodel when I first started out in business as a run around hack. They were about 18k retail but had a special on at $13,999+ORC at the time, 2 year old import 1300cc models with 50k's were the same price. I was tempted but the wife complained about the bootspace mainly, so we done a complete 360 and bought a 2nd hand 2 year old Mazda 6 which we still have.

I'm not buying it but pics might help your cause mate & more details like trans, mileage, condition interior/exterior, import/nz new e.t.c.

For Dunedin I recommend: K G McLeod Ltd 150 Larnach Rd Waverley Dunedin 03-454 3749 Reason why is the diagnostics guy up there (Alan) is probably better than the guys at BMW here in Dunedin & at a fraction of the cost! He's worked on my E60, 2 other X5's, Range Rover e.t.c...

JUST get someone to do it, find out a reputable company to have it done. Black is the worst colour to do & maintain.

LOL, I could read it too. Welcome to BS.

Hahaha, keep us posted on that. Tidy unit mate, GL with the sale.

I don't think you'll have any trouble selling it at that money. You probably have no option but to say why it's up for sale as people are going to ask anyway, I mean, why would someone say buy a brand new car then sell it straight away? I've seen some absolutely ridiculous prices for these things. 2nd hand imports 2005 models for 15grand with the 1.3 engine, example: Visit My Website Your listing will blow that above one out of the water. In fact, yours is probably a bit too cheap, even at 18 slides it's probably it's money? LOL, why would someone buy that 2nd hand 23km Japanese 1300cc job instead of your BRAND NEW 3 year warranty NZ New job?

Loving it how the owner of the 325i asks to swap for his listing??? It's just a kit on a 325i & he wants to swap haha!
-
Yer, they have obviously bought in a few 4.4is units. How many k's are you getting out of a tank in the 4.4 Aaron?
-
Chipped they go from: 210 kW to 238 kW 580 NM to 660 NM
-
You lucky bastard. Pickup to say 60kph must be phenomenal on that 535d?
-
Nice car. Does it really make that much difference removing the A/C pump to the performance to warrant being without A/C?
-
Hey Aaron I remember when you got your X5. How many k's has it done now? My old MK1 Black E53 had about 150 on it when I got it, sold it with about 180, but only used it as a weekend car and nearly had that a year, paid 23grand for it & boy was it immaculate. I've just recently bought a 05 X5 3.0d and love it. I can drag my ATV from Dunedin to Christchurch and back on one tank of diesel & with the 500nm, power to burn. I'd say from 0-50kph the 3.0d would be slightly quicker, only because the torque comes in faster but my old 4.4 would probably beat it in a straight line.

535d Quite a rare one, more talk than John Campbell. I love their speil "We at Coombes Johnston BMW..." It's like listening to a ton of cheese.
-
Be prepared to book ahead, they are usually very busy.
-
59 k's? Would have to be the lowest mileage origonal surely? 200grands worth?
