  1. What he said ^^ What purpose would that car fulfil I'm stuffed if I know, it seriously made my eyes bleed when I see this car. IMO, it looks like something poking out of a skip.
  2. Porsche 911 Targa Has to be good buying at 22k?
  3. All you need to do is install Carmen Electra or Elin Nordegren in the passengers seat and that wouldn't be such a bad thing - hairpin coming up - WOOPS! Sorry lady!
  4. My E53 doesn't have the Xenon headlamps and it has auto adjusters i.e when you turn the lights on they go up and down to find the level, you can also adjust this manually. If thats what you meant?
  5. Bloody hot, the kind of thing you'd leave the wife for in an instant!
  6. I would consider one, I'd love one, but as it's a 2nd car for us we can't afford/justify having that much tied up our 2nd car.
  7. Needs new pads, can't have been done. It's booked in for Thursday and they're paying for it to be done. Out of curiosity, is there some kind of post sale warranty for things like this? I have a 2 year mechanical warranty which doesn't cover this, but they've offered to replace the pads anyway.
  8. Incorrect: Voted in Australia as the best New Zealand Documentary.
  9. I thought it was Double Brown - there is possibly some truth in your claim as Lion Red was the commonly (on more than one occasion) consumed refreshment in the hit movie Once were Warriors.
  10. Thats some serious thrashing to get that. On a trip mine would settle down to about 9litres / 100km but around town you need to double that. 25l !!! FARK! Worst car I ever had was a P38 Range Rover 4.6 - that was doing about 25 / 100km - was an absolute PIG!
  11. Not to be confused with Stella, the original wife beater - ROFL
  12. Yeah I know haha!! Can't physically afford to have about 100k tied up in cars at the moment. Hurry the f**k UP recession please.
  13. Yeah it's not an issue was we need economy for the amount of k's the wife does. Wish I could afford to go to a 320d touring.
  14. Have this error message coming up on my OBC - I'm 99% sure it means replace brake pads however, they seem to have plenty of meat on them & I'm pretty sure they were replaced just before I bought it 3000km ago. Is there any way of resetting the computer for it to re-calibrate? If I leave the car off for over an hour the error message keeps coming up. Cheers.
  15. How are you finding it mate? We're seriously looking at one to replace the Mazda 6 What's the fuel economy like? i.e what litres / 100km are you returning? PICTURES!
  16. Good fluff magnet eh? I'm a married man and all but when I owned my Porsche Boxster (womans car ) - lets just say it would have been easier to find a mating partner should I be out of wedlock.
  17. Thats tuffffffff - Let us know how she runs! All the correct credentials, manual, black, black leather & NZ New.
  18. As soon as I seen that subject, all I could think of was Morgan Freeman saying that. SNAP! I wonder if the poor guy needs to put a request in writing for intercourse & has to be signed off by the council & subject to solicitors approval???
  19. I'm a hater of chrome wheels on a European car. They only suit American skateboards IMO. They've spent so much time on that E 200 to make it look tough, yet it couldn't outrun a power pole. They have a 100kw engine and will do 100kph in about 13 seconds - but plenty of time for a gang member huh?
  20. Fair call. I doubt admin will send the Gestapo around and slaughter his family because of that, his post does say "whats it worth..."
  21. Certainly not this kid IF it's only a weekend car. My last car (GTS) was my daily and I can report that they don't do 15l / 100km as quoted combined, add another 5-7 - that with doing up to 1000km a week gets very boring on your fuel bill at the 20th of the month! I'm filling up every 2nd week at the moment (unless we go abroad) and it costs me $100 !!! & around town I get about 800-900km
  22. Have found this bad boy locally: Visit my website ffs.
  23. I had a pre-purchase inspection done for a guy who wanted to buy my Porsche - they're fkn muppets. They devalued the car because it had 3/4 worn disks, dirty engine bay, oil seepage (not leak or drip but moist around the rocker cover one bank) I've had two X5 BMW's now and both of them I haven't had an issue with that I can really complain about. I owned a E60 and that was trouble, an absolute prick of a thing. My uncle had a 4.6is for 2 years and no trouble, he had a E60 M5 and it was a joke, always in at Cooke Howlison BMW - another friend of mine owns Laurie Mains's old X5, has had it for 5 years and hasn't had one problem. Never owned a E46 but we will certainly get it checked out correctly.
  24. We've been there & done the Subaru thing and it's ended up with alot of money in repairs. She's fairly set on a E46 (so am I)and yeah it does have to be a touring because we do need that extra space. End of financial is up now so we're going to actively market the Mazda and see what we can get for it. Most are around the 13-15k mark. With the VAG's they are fairly old looking, never really been a fan of those cars, however a bluemotion golf would be nice, but just too expensive at this stage. FFS DRTDVL a 307? That would seriously make my poor little 9 month old cry just looking at it!
