And the naturally hardworking garage will see the BMW badge and up the charges Yes I will have a look at the intake hose like all the others have trouble with. Hope the mechanical warranty will take care of it. lol

My 318ti M44 has the same problem only when it warms up. Being a naturally lazy begger I'm unsure on what to look for so if any one has any ideas let me know. Sorry for hijacking your thread

Could always pull it apart and shorten the plastic thing that pushes the aerial up
-
Dont get you on this oneWhat does that mean

Like they say dude It makes me wonder. My 318ti is a genuine M-spec (vin number says so ) The badge on the Door says BMW MotorSport International and have a M badge on the boot, as in ///M Maybe you could post your VIN number and it could be checked A site that does a quick vin decode http://www.bmw-z1.com/VIN/VINdecode-e.cgi

Lucky bugger getting a M3 I got a 318ti as well (not a M3 tho) and will have to say its the best car I have driven in a long time.
-
Had my 318ti MSport for a couple of months - paid too much of course - plain jane in silver but does have the badges on the doors and boot. Umm what else oh yeah live in Timaru, looking forward to the "Boy Racer Day" at Levels so I can try it out, Is an Auto but does have 3 position switch for gearbox (manual - eco - sport) May have to find a good mechanic to tune it and someone with a SRS reset tool (haha dont all e36 owners want one of those)
