  1. So Thought I'd post it on here so other people can be wary when out driving. I went out to a drinks on Friday night which was particularly boring but thats beside the point. I left around 10:40pm and on the way home I thought I'd have a binge on lollies and stopped at the BP in Herne Bay and so I pulled in and parked in the parking they have outside the shop and I got out to see someone standing right in front of me. My guess is he was pretty drunk and was a big as f**king white guy in one of those samoan skirt things (LOL) and I just closed the door and locked the car and walked inside while he was trying to say stuff to me, mainly asking where "the bitches were" I didnt know where the bitches were and as far as I knew he was the one wearing a skirt so if anyone had any idea it would have been him. Anyway I just said I didnt know and was relatively friendly to the weirdo and I got what I was in there for and went back to my car, only to find there were now the big white dude and 2 other other black guys standing there, slightly shitting myself at this point I go to the car and unlock the car and go to get in while these guys are walking around the car just saying "gangster car for a young fella" "sexy fuken interior" (kinda smiled at that one since i happen to agree) " Must pull so many bitches" " f**king unfair how some people have everything" this kind of thing and my as I opened the door to get in one of them stood infront of the door so I couldnt close it and kept saying all sorts of things, pretty much about how sh*t his life was and how unfair it is. They were looking pretty and angry and I was just like "Look mate I got to get going" and while doing this I turn on the car, thankfully for my glitched electrics at the moment the doors auto locked and I just put it in drive and rolled enough so the dude wasnt in the way of my door closing and they were kinda walking along side as I was rolling forward slightly and I reached out to grab the door to close it and one dude was frantic trying to open the passenger door swearing the banging the window and the other dude went to grab my am and I just floored it outta there. This point totally freaking out looking in the rear veiw and the were jumping in their car to chase me and my car isnt exactly fast but just lucky I know my way around the area and they chased me down Jervois Road and to the end and I went down Herne Bay Road then onto Marine Parade and I know the road is a loop that links back up to the main road where there are several different ways to go and I just went what ever way seemed logical and pulled into someones driveway and turned the car off and sat for like 20 mins. But yeah thats what happend, sounds so crazy I guess you had to be there to know how yuck it was. Got home in the end and woke up in the morning two two flat tires so dont know how that happend but none of that was a great way to kick off my weekend! So the moral is to be wary of yuck people that want your car!
  2. Sounds good man, at least you got good taste in mods you do wanna do, yeah I can lend a hand, flick me a pm

  4. Oh okay, Im sure I've seen it around, dont know where exactly just looks a little familiar. Got many plans for her?
  5. Airbags are for pussys anyway haha
  6. Welcome aboard mate. Vey nice E39 you got there, I recognise that plate too..
  7. Ahhh yeah thats how I did the stuff in my car my looking at how it was originally done then doing it and if I f**k up then Id just have to buy some new parts haha. So Im glad I didnt ruin anything! Yeah we got quite a lot of cars at Jerrys that has the M coloured stitching on the steering wheels, I want a new steering wheel, like a the Evo M3 type then perhaps look at retrimming that..
  8. Man that looks really nice! If I were to ever get a steering wheel retrimmed I'd proberbly go pro for that, I question my stitching skills haha. Where did you learn to do the steering wheel or just did it and learnt while doing it? Cheers mate, Im not 100% sold on the dash parts but thouhgt it might add something to the dash just to be unique, If I could Id like to get hold on a set of wood trim for it but I doubt they are that easily found in NZ. Yeah Ive only ever seen suede trimming on those parts in a few 760li's and one of our M6's at work have it also. Its a really expensive option but makes the car seem so much nicer inside. Deffinatly worth while doing its so easy. Umm I didnt take any of the orignal fabric off as it was all mint and solidly stuck and the headliner was out of a 1999 model E36 or so the stamp says, so it will be a while before that sags which I doubt it will now since I drenched it with glue! Its one of those things you have to see in person to appreciate it, pictures dont do it much justice, it doesnt stand out as much as that, more subtle. Now if only people like Alex stop stroking my headliner it will be sweet haha
  9. You could recover it yourself man, its realllly easy to do!
  10. I work there so good to hear some good feedback I guess
  11. Paint looks Beaut! Must have been quite a bit of elbow grease gone into that, I feel your pain, I keep my cars paint that tidy, lots of maintenence!
  12. I did my angel eyes myself, its really easy to do. Just plug and play really as long as you follow the instructions and have a few tools to use to make it easier.

  17. Oh really? post when you are done mate, would like to see how it comes out. I want to change my steering wheel , nothing screams 1993 build more than my steering wheel but I heard its not as easy tochange as others since the Airbag light is built into the wheel and not on the dash? anyone know?
  18. Yeah it took a bit of skill to get it to wrap around the consol properly, It does have a bit of a defect on it but I can see it from the drivers seat so its ok, out of sight out of mind!! I have thouhgt about doing the door inserts, might still do it, also thought of doing the lower dash and keep the door inserts leather and insted to the rest of the door card. But I dont wanna go over the top with it all you know. Anyway I did the headliner today in that sexy weather we have been having, but for now my job is complete, looks better in person.
  19. My steering wheel is so worn down its already like that haha, new steering wheel is on the list. p.s Cheers for the good feedback!
  20. So, I did more today, getting a little carried away, but besides the headliner which I still gotta do this is all Im going to do in the car in suede. The centre console was so tricky but looks good, pics dont do much justice though, but here they are.
  21. Haha umm I dunno just cos? Yeah I figured you meant dirt, its filthy at the moment my wheels are brown. But it keeps raining so I havent bothered
  22. Haha and a lesbian audi is much better? just kidding. Each to thier own Nathan.
  23. Yea I did it pretty carefully, made sure it was all nice and tight, worked out pretty well if do say so myself, Going to trim a few more things I think haha. Yeah $40 a can works nice and didnt use too much of it will proberbly buy two or three to do the headliner though. Haha cheers mate, yeah you know me too well. I notice every little detail, but think the details is what makes a car stand out in a sublte way, its a good way to do things on a car, quality stuff over lots of crap. Next time get a picture with a can of glue spray hahahha
