  1. loving those wheels, would look sweet on my iS. Good buy for only 5k, good luck with the sale mate
  2. I did this when I was a bit younger, thought I'd be a gutsy 11 year old and transfer to Heroshima Private Prep.. Was crazy
  3. The guy that bought that car traded in his R8 for it. Which was good for me since i drove the R8 like a mad man hahah
  4. Mostly because my steering wheel is about as sexy as a lesbian buzz cut.. Sick of its ugliness so thought a change would be nice. But I guess since I cant change it I will stick with it and just get a new car.. Cheers for all the help guys
  5. Just so you know mate, leather is never supposed to shine, it is meant to have a matt or satin type finish to it. Think of it like your own skin, you dont have shiny skin unless your some butter face whore.. But yeah have a search on the current threads there are about it. You will find megiars and mothers stuff usually leaves the seats greasy as..
  6. Keep us in the loop with this mate, Ive been looking for a set of decent LED tails
  7. Excuse my ignorance but what is a Easy out? Can it be plugged tempoarily?
  8. I noticed, hopefully not too late.. A hissing sound comming from my car after its warmed up and had a drive. I noticed a bit of steam and upon actually opening the bonnet and having a look I saw wat appeared to be the bleeder valve on the radiator open so I filled it up and let the air out and when to tighten the screw and found it was snapped off with half of it still in there but there is a hole in it. I turned the car on and gave it a few light taps in the accelerator and noticed a stream of coolant comming. So I obviously need a new screw. But the question is, how do I get out the screw thats currently stuck in there? Also just to save stealing someones elses car is it possible to plug it with something tempoarily just until I get the new screw? Cheers guys
  9. Genuine M3 mirrors are actually pretty expensive, I remeber when some idiots smashed mine off while I was having dinner out East once and luckily knew one of the people involved and he got a nice $900 bill to buy me some new mirrors (not including the actual mirror piece) plus another $500 to paint and fit them. But the genuine ones deffinatly look better aftermarket ones as said above are pretty bad quality etc
  10. Yep this is the one I was telling you about. Cheers for the comments fellas. P dot s I got some genuine BMW euro plates for it today..
  11. Haha Mark, the car wont be towing anything besides carrying the supermarket shopping home mate.. But yeah im looking for a set of elipsoid headlights along with some of the LED style E46 FL coupe rear lights, the not wacky over the top ones, just those nice OEM looking ones but they are like $500 on trade me so Im going to search offshore...
  12. We had this at Jerrys, was awesome going for a spin in it, gets so many looks, someone said above and was spot on, its a vinyl wrap, bit shonky in places so cant expect it to be mint, think it cost 4k to get wrapped from memory and lasts about 5 -7 years
  13. So I picked up a E46 today for the mum its a E46 318i Mum-tech She was keen on a small engine so who am I to judge and plus I have a 318 aswell so cant say much.. Its done around 80,000kms and has nice options and those that know me will roll thier eyes when I say I got suede interior rather than leather.. haha. I figured I'll do a few things to it and make her minter which would be a little tough since its already so tidy! So Im picking up some europlates etc for it. But yeah here she is thought I'd share with you lot..
  14. Those prices are really decent! Looks like Im going to have to get my door cards fixed then, so that mean I will strip off the vinyl and retrim it in suede with leather insert... should looks nice and suit the top half of my interior more
  15. Cheers Brent, Yeah I figured you couldnt order the bits I need... Nick - Cheers for the offer for help, I will proberbly take you up on that slash steal your door cards.. Im very aware of gluing the bits back on but if you remember what the doorcard looks like inside, the black strip of plastic at the top of the doorcard with the rectangular loops, mine have all broken from some f**k wit, proberbly me smashing the thing back on but Im pretty sure they were already broken when i got the car... Ahhh well Dad is taking the car to get the window regulators done soon aparently so I will fix them up when I get the car back... Pending on the new Mercedes of course
  16. Are the plastic strip parts that are glued to the door cards able to be ordered seperatly through the dealership? last time I looked I couldnt find a part number...
  17. Pimped-out-MX5-slash-Cruella-DeVille-ghetto-cruiser-thing Discuss
  18. Dont buy meguiars stuff for leather it is utter crap and will leave your seats patchy with grease, I'll do your seats for you
  19. I thought about it but ive broken lots of the clip strips and astuff thouhgt it would be cheaper to just buy new door cards all together.. Have you used them Steve? Good prices? quality of finish?
  20. As per title. I am after the front two door cards for a E36 coupe, material on the door insert doesnt matter as I have the leather inserts already. But all I care about is that the rest of the door card is black and all the vinyl is stuck down around the door pockets and the clips running along the top are not broken.. Cheers
