Saw a tidy looking dark blue E36 with black tail lights and bimmersport stickers on the rear passenger window along Remuera Road on Monday morning, looking good..

I think they are actually quite cool. Its a nice detail to add to a car.. any idea of prices?

Ahhh so many haters! I think the car is awesome.. Perhaps it takes a trained eye to be able to appreciate the things they have done (design wise) E60 which was clearly a Bangle car, which for the record I have no problem with, his designs were/are great. Yet the E60 seemed more about reinvention. Where as this new 5 isnt drawn that was as it pays much more attention to the past models and uses styling cues from that.. For example, the rear of the car pays distinctive homage to the E34. Yes the rear does look very similar to the new 7 but the rear of the E34 also looked similar to the rear of a E32 7-Series... The front which is obviously the face of the car so it is for many the main focus and point to recognise the car so a bit of reinvention is always required yet in the photos I have seen it portrays the same design features and proportions of the E39 by use of the narrower/flatter headlights. I think the car looks great, as already said, BMW is usually ahead of the game the cars will make more sense and look better after a year or two. I remember everyone saying they hated the E60 when it came out, yet its one of the best sellers... go figure. Give it time people.

Hey guys.. I have been driving a different car lately and I took it too Coromandle the other day for a drive and although the car isnt massively low the wheels on the back still like to rub on the guards.. I was wondering what is causing this. There was no fat hoes in the back or anyone for that matter. So this leads me to think perhaps the springs are slightly too soft? So what I am asking is would it be beneficial to get stiffer springs in the rear and/ or get the guards rolled? Here is a picture of the car so you can see what I mean by it not being really low... Cheers for any help..

Really? I think your car has a okay ride height....Umm at the moment I am running just standard motorsport rear springs with Dobi super lows in the front... I had the super lows in the back also but it was a little too thug life for me, I'll post a picture of what it looked like I dont know if they are on any previous pages..

Ahh so a few things on the old girl have changed, got the M5 wheels refinished in silver. Ghetto black just wasnt cutting the mustard anymore. Chucked on some new plates on my car aswell as mothers.. Both cars are filthy though
