Might help if people know where you are located man..

It is real leather and its actually decent quality it just isn't grain stamped like typical standard BMW leather..

I think it's a good idea to keep it and enjoy it. It should be pretty reliable now. Driving any kind of E36 is 10x better than their Japanese equivalent. You will always find a engine you want more than the one you have, it's the rules. That's what keeps people upgrading. Don't think about the monetary value of your car just use it and enjoy it, if you bought a car for its value then you have brought the wrong kind of car. People always want what they don't have appreciate what you got and you will always win!

Basically I don't think you will be able to recover the cost. You will probably get what you paid for the car. But the new buyer will just have the peace of mind that it has been looked after but most don't want to pay more than they have to and also given the year it's skipped over by a lot of E36 buyers as they could get something a few years newer for around 3k. I guess it depends how long you don't mind having the car for sale if you sell it. The low kms is the best draw card in my opinion. You can try for $4k but you will find it might sit for a few weeks before you get an interested buyer.

This is actually my favorite color on an E36 which is a shame not many other people agree with me. I would probably pay a fair good amount for one on lower kms. There is one similar to what you described on Trade Me at the moment but is NZ New and 205km for $4.5k which has been there for a few weeks, even though it does have altezza lights it does look to be in really good shape. So I would say around that mark I guess.

I'd probably go with the coupe. It sounds like it would be easy to clean up really nice and when you go to resell it the kms still aren't too bad so won't scare people off too much. Also coupes are way better and that one sounds like its nicely optioned with Motorsport stuff you will end out wanting to put on to the 4 door anyway. Leather interiors are easy and cheap to find for them. I vote coupe bro.

So they have some negative feedback? Who cares?
-
Maybe if it was an X5 or a Range

I don't 100% understand it myself but with the amount of people interested in it there must be something there that they enjoy out of it. So who am I or anyone else to judge that. Cars are a extension of ones personality sometimes and its way for people to express their individuality. So if anyone sees it as pointless or horrible, just remember you don't have to drive it.

See now, I would have more than likely would have bought that...
-
Luckily it's only a 323i

I hope you looked her up and down and reminded her she only works in a shop...
-
Yeah sadly I don't like either of those...
-
It might be fine but basically you will never be able to sell it. I haven't seen an E60 this high so no idea what they would be like in terms of reliability. But things will well and truly be worn...
-
Is it me or is there like nothing decent on Trade Me? If anyone knows of anything let me know!
-
If you don't 318i/316i badge it I will just take things into my own hands and do it for you. It must be done
-
Welcome mate, get those pics!
-
When are you going to put the 318i badges on?
-
Such a clean install. The devil is certainly in the detail. P.s still so glad you ditched the RS4 tips, I don't want to say I told you so, but....
