Check out my other thread about the leather I already did a bit of DIY work on it myself and came out remarkably good as I didnt want to paint it as such because it kinda ruins the idea of leather because it gives it a vinyl like finish. But the stuff I did to it has keept me happy as it makes it look brand new Oh and FYI I have read that site throughly ages ago and ordered stuff a little while ago

Yeah Im a mad Emo bro. Nah It's that massive cemetary out west, its close to my assignment building site so thought I'd take a few snaps while I was passing by... until I keept driving deeper into the old parts and the roads turned to sh*t and got a little lost and maybe a little worried that I was lost in the middle on NZ's biggest cemetary.. Oh hell yeah Graham needs a lowering, its crying out for it. I mean I always thought SUV's were good for being high up so you can see lots more, but boy was I wrong. Its funny when your pulled up next to a bus and at the same eye level as everyone on the bus...... perhaps a slight exaggeration. Its a tough car though, I went and picked up all the filters from Jerry Claytons today, there are so much better than Team Mcmillan, awesome customer service!

I work in a dump of a work place for a few more weeks part time until I find a new part time job with a Architectural firm so it gives me some work experience with my studies. Which I'm doing my second year of a 5 year course doing Bachelors/Masters of Architecture (they are changing it from Bachelors to Masters at some point this year)

Mike - No colouring should come off aslong as it has been buffed up after its dried but to be sure I wont be wearing white for a while, and also want to see how long it lasts as it seems to have worked too well for something so cheap and easy to do! They might have grey, If need be i can go back ot the store and have a look

Its called Waproo its a coloured shoe cream. It was like $7 i think for a 50g jar, I got it in Navy, I think they just have the basic colours.. Black, White, Navy and Tan and proberbly Dark brown... Not that people have leather in any other colours than those but can maybe prove difficult if you have an obscure shade.

So I got a bit bored today and thought I’d go on a hunt for some stuff to try and fix the leather a bit more… I found some pretty good stuff and was cheap as chips, wasn’t especially for car leather but it seemed to recolour it well and it actually feels much more softer although the interior now smells like shoes.. Rant: Okay so I work in west Auckland right, so I decided I'll get the guys at Hotwire down the road on Great North Rd to install my new head deck. Well to just re-do it after my failed attempt. First off I go in there on the Wednesday to try get it done that day but they said not until some rediculous time the next day or what ever time I want on Friday, so I chose a time on Friday. Whilst I was there on the Wednesday I asked the guy there what they think I did wrong as to why the deck was acting the way it was.. didnt even get a answer! and they wernt even friendly people, not even a smile or something just gave me blunt yes and no's. On the friday I come on time and that I was at least friendly but still got sh*t customer service again, when I walked in to tell them that the car is here all I got was a weird look and a "Uhh ok, whats you name, give me your keys". I didnt get told how long it would be so I stood outside and then went a looked at mags next door and around other shops then came back and waited another 30 mins. Car was finally ready over an hour later the guy came and passed me the keys and I paid for it all and attempted to ask a few questions but still no solid reply and then so I was just like Ok, forget it, and left. I get home and saw that there were marks all over my bonnet from where people have been sitting coffee cups and stuff as there were coffee stain rings around the bonnet, and washed it but you can still see the marks they made if you look closely, but thats not so much the bad thing. The bad part is the whole thing all summed up, They have absolutley sh*t customer service, workman is Ok, but the complete lack of respect for someone elses car is appalling. So in saying this I do NOT recommend people to go get stuff done from these people. End Rant.

The little speaker looking thing above the brake peadal is a gong thing that also is supposed to work with the LIMIT button on the OBC and when the door is open and the keys in the ignition or so the owners manual says... Not that fussed with it just wouldnt mind fixing it

Okay so I have been doing a bit of interior clean up and I bought some Megiars leather cleaner, I wasnt expecting it to work miracles on the leather but it did a good job at softening it, but now its the cracks and wear in the leather that i want to deal to and I know there are lots of products out there to cure this. But I just wanted to know what you guys use or have used to get rid of the cracks or something that hides it a bit. I get lots of comments on the interior at night, when you cant see so much of the wear but not so many comments during the day haha But yeah here are a few pictures of the problem areas... (The picture of the cracking on the rear seat is usually white not the colour in the picture (was just after a clean) but just to give you a rough idea, even if the cracking was always the colour in the picture that would be fine!)

I do have a semi-related question, Is it just me or does no ones elses door gong work? as I have learnt that it is a OBC function and anyone know how to fix them? Awesome write up Will, I must replace my back light at sometime
