you are always going to get the numbnuts on forum sites. I would propose ( like other forum sites ) an option to be able to ignore certain users. This blocks that user posts showing up when you are logged in.

Agreed go for the M SPort kit. Would look great with your current set up. Have you thought of de-badging your car ie: remove the 320i from the ass end. Check my leet skillz

Top ride man. Where u get and what style ( aftermarket? ) mags you got on there? I'm after some just like that. Should look fat on a black E36. Cheers

Absoutly - my Skyline was 450 - 480 K's out of a ~$60 tank of gas doing the same running round I do now.I drove that car hard = crap mileage. And yes - it was a heavy car.

=9.6km/litre 10.417 l 100ks.not to bad for central auckland???The 535 would prolly be 16 l 100 ks in that S*&t Yes - central AK.Have to take into consideration that my motor is a twin cam 1900, and I am not heavy footed in my beamer. I cruise to cruise. Haven't been over 4500 RPM yet. My days of burnouts and knarly squeelies are past me, so fuel savings galore here If I wanted to hoon around and burn rubber, I would drive a skyline or similar. Cheap to fix, cheap to run ( previously owned a 2.5 skyline, hence my comment ) Anyway - yeah happy with 9.6 km/L with town driving.

Filled up friday, as per normal myself. So this should be accurate. 53.64L = $67.26 Dollars trip counter was 515 km from last fill. About middle of red, never let it get that low before, so topped up anyway. I 'guess' I still had another 20 ~ 30 K's left no worries. Interesting, because I usually fill her up when I hit quarter mark. All normal road, and typical Penrose traffic at nights. No motorway use on this tank.

Yeah - i'm a real fan of black cars. To me - they just look meaner. Only problem, is every scratch, ding, swirl and dirt shows up like anything. If your prepared to spend time cleaning and detailing, it's all good.

Well done on the wheel mods. Makes a huge differance. Like it...like it alot. And not even a slither of N0 8 wire to be seen :mosh:

Ok - fair enough comment, but after buying and selling a total of seven properties now, I am educated on estate agents, and yet to meet one with honesty and integrity. As for carsalespersons, I was stating stats - so I retract. In fact the guy I brought my beamer off was a nice guy. Journo's, the two I delt with in the past have been after a 'story'. They edit and tell half truths. That was my point - should of said " get it in writing to protect your interests ". Didn't mean to offend, but I don't normally state what I don't know or have personal experience in. Cheers - just clearing reasons to my comments up.

your going to have to spend ANOTHER 6-7 K for a nice E36 dude

You don't know where that pump has been, or how long it's been sitting around. I would run it for a week, then replace my fuel filters for good measure. Hope the S/H pump is a good one Top job ! :thumb:

Put a couple of squirts of oil into the cylinders before taking a reading. If the compressions comes up alot from a 'dry' test, you have ring damage. Possable even piston damage.

Emma - I hope your parents know that they have a kick ass daughter! You ROCK girl :thumb:  :mosh: :mosh: :mosh:

Nice ride MattA... clean lines and nice colour. Dig the seats too. :thumb:

You do know you ARE IN THE RIGHT. Personally, I would persue the journalist and magazine, report it as a minor accident to the police etc. Nothing for you to be ashamed off or feel you are in the wrong. HE DROVE INTO YOUR ASS. Sorry to hear man - I would be gutted, even though its looks minor. Remember, car sales(persons) realestate agents and journo's are in the same league, scumballs who are after a buck regardless of who they screw over. Protect yourself and do what your have to.

OK. Pleased to hear Off the top of my head, if there are seats there they must have inertia (S?) seat belts. If there are seat belts there, they must have seats. Remove seats and seat belts, you should have no problem getting a WOF.
-
Yup - makes sence. I'm going to do a photo using the same long exposure technique, but with star trails. Over, say one hour min, it would look pretty awesum. Especially if the shoot was centered on the south celestrial pole, or orion for example.
-
Out of curiosity, is the ghost people added in, or due to a photo trick? Asking because I would like to do it also, in car shots and other photo shots.

RELAX man. If the above comment is on par with your thoughts on removing your rear seats to add a boom box or gnarly sounds, get a honda. ( no offence *sic, honda civic's and CRX's seem to be physically suited for this ) Don't ruin ya bimmer with silly stuff dude. If I must, I will look up in my WOF regulations book for you, but I want to know what for first

Sounds nice. Pics or it didn't happen :pimp:
