I believe he's better off without her. ( now - he could be a complete prick himself - who knows ) Why I say this, is because this type of reaction just shows either the mantality or explosive nature of a person. Buggar that!

As my observations go, it also depends on the area you are in at the time. I've always lived around Remmers, Orakei, St heliers and Kohimarama ( current ) for the past 15 years. I'm a curtious driver with a bias towards the nice ladies and other BMW drivers. I run through Penrose traffic every work night, and on average let in 3-4 peole in front of me. I get let in also, but it seems to be mainly the ladies and other BMW drivers, maybe thats where my bias comes into the equation. The ones that speed up to close a gap are mostly youngins in their riced jappas ( crx's, civics, integras, skylines and that sort of car ). Funny that. Anyway, I always wave to people whom let me in, smile and stuff like that. What pisses me off is when you let someone in, and they just ignore you and take it like you had to. Anyway - the area thing, I find in 'my area' it's a 50/50 thing. Funninly enough, almost all other bimmer drivers smile or acknowledge me when eye contact is made. Even funnier is the Merc's drivers seem to be the opposite.

WOarr - thats a fine car. Those mags, M5?. Were they on it when you got the car? If not, where you get them from and did they bolt straight on?

My advise is not to shag around with reco'ing such a important part of your clutch system. It will fail, and it will always fail at the most unfortunate time. Suck the fat one and buy a shiney new one man. You won't regret it, and it will be cheaper in the long run. Flick your old one and acquired one on Trademe to some sucker for some cash back or beers If dosh is a prob, PM me and I'll hook you up with trade and 20th month following payment.

Thanks alot guys. I cracked out the TIS and looked through there as well. It turns out he had a 'cut' master key, which wouldn't unlock from 'dead lock'. He wiggled and giggled the handle as prescribed above, and got in. Lesson here, only use a MASTER KEY from BMW...... BTW: the boot would open, but the CL would not inside the car. Passenger side and drivers side would not budge. And of note - the battery was not flat. He got in and started it
-
Cheers. He says the key won't even move in the door at this stage. It's as if the key lock/barrell is siezed tight. Strange one allright.

My dad has a 1985 E30 with a flat battery. He is locked out of his car, and cant get in!! Central locking will not work with the key because the batt is flat. ( he assumes so ) Does anyone know how to get into the car to get to the bonnet reslease. Cheers

Only if they are a car dealer and only if its not an auction. That's right. I assumed he was talking with regards to a car salesperson/car yard.

Ouu very nice seats. Would look great in your red bimmer. Pity they arn't black, or I'd be fighting you for them
-
It's up to the disposer of the car to make sure it has a current rego and wof. Period. Have a look at your Sales Agreement. You did list what you wanted on the agreement...did you? Anyway - a verbal promise should be good enough to hold him to it if you go through the right channels. Good luck!

The PCV valve ( pressure control valve ) can cause lots of niggly problems just like your idle and smoking. Basically, it pressurises the crank case when not working, in turn, not letting the oil drain back into the sump area from the head efficently. I see it alot on old machines I work with. Blow-by, crap idle, smokey are all classic signs. Sure as hell not $1200 bucks worth!.... normally a wash bath and some CRC cleans/frees the valves up ( which is basically a ball and spring in a cylinderical (Sp?) tube ) Not a bimmer thou

Nice giggle for the day The driver could say his hydraulics were playing up

Nice ride. Try trademe, some one may pay that price. A little on the hight side to be honest. I own the same year/type car. Brought from a dealer over a year ago for alot less that that. Great car however :mosh:

Nice video - the bus cracked me up. Would of been great to see the two cars going balls out with no traffic ( bikes, buses etc ) to negotiate around. Cheers! :bounce:

Without seeing the car, I would say that the door is off another car ( or had a crap repair ). Check out the colour of the front panel, rear and front and the bonnet/roof. The crease in the body work is the real tell tale sign.No worries, don't get me wrong, it's just a damn door. Nice car, and I like the idea of getting rid of the grill in the bumper. I'll look at doing that myself. Although, once the number plate is on, you don't even notice that grill part.
