Mine was drilled in directly to the boot. Don't see a problem with it, as it still looks like a numberplate. It was Jeff Gray European that did it, not me. Although Shelly BMW don't know howto lineup a numberplate because my rear one is a bit wonky. Shoulda done it myself.

I think that looks like one of the BMWarehouse guys maybe, as I think I've dealt with a Warren there. One of the guys had one of those kits on his car, and it was an optional extra when he bought it from Team McMillan. Good price if it is original!

I hate how I ordered a new iskin evo3 case for my 60gb vid ipod, and in the weekend I've newly acquired a nice little deep scratch on the screen. So therefore.. I hate how you always time things wrong. Oh, and I hate how ipod accessories command a premium in pricing. Especially for the new $90 radio remote thing, which I want for the remote part but couldn't careless about the radio = $90 for a little remote.

98% of it does wash off without the need for car wash liquid, but its that 2% that bugs me.

I use that Heavy Duty Car wash.. you know.. the one that is green. Will that take off my lovely canubra wax? I've washed my car 4 times this month so far.. only polished and waxed once though.

paid 110 for mine from Ernst Ripped, I paid $80 brand new for mine, I think it was from Page european - that's the boss kit anyway, paid $90 for replica wheel No, it was from Maclennan Performance down Willis Street you bought it from. I bought an OEM Momo boss kit for $50 from there 3 years ago. Took a month to get here though.

This may affect me as my car is a tad louder than stock (makes going through tunnels a blast eh Andrew and Dan). This is my second exhaust as my first one (which was considerably quieter) shattered itself to pieces (well the muffler did anyway), so I needed a higher quality one (and for some reason louder). I'm slowly getting sick of it as it is a pain in the ass at low speeds. I used to have an 84 Celica with an even louder exhaust. The people in my university hostel used to hate me in first year when I hooned up the carpark. What about Ian's 323i race-car? that is one freakin loud car. A good loud tho...

That my friend is the 'kick-down switch' for an auto. Which drops the car a gear when you click it.

Telecom do some nasties on their network to increase latency and therefore delay/quality issues. Have tested 3 different connections... including dialup with Paradise which was better than the Jetstream connections tested.

Tell you what, Jeff Gray's 2002tii pulled hard like a schoolboy when I took it for a blast. Very quick, and sounded awesome. Dogleg gearbox took a while to get used to however. Avgas gave it that little extra. Manual steering was a pain in the ass with doing a 3 point turn.

I think you will be hard pressed to purchase an original OEM kit eg germany for that price. I was quoted $1,300 for the front valance alone. But then again that was from the dealer. Painting will cost you $1,300ish.
