  1. Ladie, Gentlemen and Carl. I am currently on the look out for accommodation in Gisborne for a few days after Xmas and after new years. My fellow comrades and myself are off the Rhythm and Vines at Waihoki Estate. If anyone knows of anyone else keen to rent out their whare (house),then please PM me. We of course will pay generously for this.
  2. Man that is one awesome looking ride. Mint!
  3. I run Castrol GTX. That's because my mechanic made the recommendation because he tried some synthetics in his 525i and had smoke out that back end after a while. Does anyone know about those fancy engine flushing systems? I had it done to my car the last service ($90 I think?). It got rid of all the grimey bits left behind after a oil change.

    lost the 'spark'

Some puntas are known to make decisions based on the shade of chrome on the wheels, and how much ooonst oonst per second can be pumped out from the boot and number plate holder. GL with sale. Looks like you've put effort into it. Very mint indeed.
  5. cool, we'll have to bust a bevie or two then one day. My mate lives kinda across from the town hall, he lives in the apartments above the video games place. Personally I wasn't too keen on the wing, however I think I have seen a M3 wing which is kinda similar which has a boot lid spoiler as well as the shopping trolley looking thing.

    21 today...

HB Andy. Hope your day is AOK.
  7. Yea, don't opt for the cheap trademe badges as they are made of crap and will fade pretty damn quickly. PS. I think I saw you parked outside the Wellington Town Hall on Saturday. First thing I noticed was the wing, and thought, ah, I've seen this car before.
  8. I've driven one of those babies (as well as Paul and Martyn). Nice car. Lot's of torque as well. Would never guess that it is a diesel, apart from the exhaust tips. A lot more quiet than some petrol cars! Does it have the Nav? That shizzle is cool.
  9. Same here.. Page European. Speak to Vijay and Bho as they know what they're doing.
  10. Cool.. I tried to pickup some Momo GT2s for my car about 2 1/2 - 3 years ago. They couldn't do me the correct offset so I instead opted for the Schnitzer copies.

    E28 535i

Ah, another Wellingtonian. I've seen you around the hood as well (the number plate is a dead giveaway). Welcome, and come along for a coupla quiet drinks with a few of the others. I think there's a thread somewhere about it.
  12. Ali.. where you been hiding?!?!! Missed a good drive upto Palmy in the weekend.
  13. Just buy a new center bearing housing like myself and Carl did. Costs probably a bit from the $tealer though. They are different between the pre-fl and fl. I would do it ASAP as it probably isn't too safe (mine was held on by a couple of bolts).
  14. 119,000kms on my 1990 320i. Was 70,000km when I bought it 3 years ago.

    New Glass Table

    How much for the handpuppets?
  18. If you can get any sort of replacements sweet, then you could just get some decals made from a tyre/wheel shop. That's all I did.

    euro plates

You don't need the plate holders, but if you don't want any holes in your new fancy euro-plate, then buy a plate holder as you clip the number plate in but screw the holder into the car. Would have been good to have known that last year before I bought my europlate.. now it has holes in both plates
  20. Isn't there a nice thread on this on bimmersport?? Will tell all that you need.
  21. depends where you hacksaw it. Basically you want to affect the throw more than anything so then there's less movement when changing gears. You'll want to change the fulcrom/leverage (sorry scientists out there if I am wrong) so that the point from where the ball is to the bottom of the shift stick is changed. I personally didn't really care about the height above that the gear knob was at, more the distance from the ball below.
  22. I've seen 3 different M5s down here in Welly's.. One had an awesome number plate with the horse power on it. Two black ones, and a silver one.
  23. Standard Steering wheel 325i gearshift lever (dunno if being a 325i one it makes a diff) F/L rearlights Airbox Side repeaters Front valance brake ducts (not the ducts themselves but the colour coded pieces that you actually see on the valance) Front seat sheepskin covers Set of bottlecaps with rubber Front indicator lens All E30 parts of course off my car.
  24. so Lewis bought them eh? Looking good.
