Boot is no good.. Try to mount somewhere within reach of the driver ie. in front of seats but out of the way enough. Fires can erupt pretty quickly and get away on you.

Came across this link on the interweb. Thought it would be good for those who have slight cosmetic scratches to their kicks on their car. Courtesy of BMWTIPS.com Wheel Scuff Repair

ooooer... i'd love an S2 Coupe... too bad I aint got no pingas/slides/greenback/colin-ash on me.
-
yea, because they will be bringing out the new numbering scheme ie. 3 series for 4 doors and touring (?), and 4 series for coupe, cabs. At least that's what I've read, but who knows.

Try engineering firms. I gave a couple a call and they were quickly able to point me to the right place.

I think it all comes apart easily enough. Center bearings are expendy. You won't be able to use your pre-facelift center bearing, so see if you can use the rear half of your auto DS with the center bearing (although i can't remember where it all comes apart). You may need to get it balanced as well since you are bastardising (sp?) two DSs. Don't want no annoying vibrations! eh

Yea, I got up to watch it. After Ralf Schumacher crashed on the fast banked corner (is it 13?) michellin took a look at the tyre and started testing other teams tyres. They had major problems and Michellin let the teams know that they should not race with these tyres. The teams then attempted to find other ways to get them all racing, ie. hairpin at the end of that corner that was causing problems with the Michellins, also flying in new sets of tyres on the Saturday, allowing teams to pit and change tyres etc etc.. unfortunately Bernie and his FIA buddies would not pull finger and said it would be breaking the rules to give advantage to the Michellin teams over the Bridgestone teams (Minardi, Jordan, Ferrari). In the end the Michellin teams boycotted the race in fear of safety. The americans were not happy chappies! fair enough I say. Although Monteiro seemed very happy with his first podium! Even the presenters of the trophies weren't there to present trophies...

I think I paid $399 ex GST for my clutchkit from BM Warehouse. I think it was a Sachs kit... included cluch, pressure plate, and release bearing.

As RJ and Cilk said, it's not so much him, but his car and tyres. It's good to see a good competition for the championship going on between Alonso and Raikkonen instead of the white wash of last year. Or maybe the McLaren's have finally found that consistency/reliability in their cars (apart from bald spots on tyres which can cause problems with 1 lap to go!!!). They've changed the qualifying back to last years 1x Saturday run. Ferrari will come back, I bet ya....

It's a bummer not able to import that, as it won't meet LTSA frontal impact standards.. must have drivers and passenger airbags (i think). oh, and welcome to the site! Pretty kick ass car!

No problem mate... You looked like you were itching to get into that committee! Nah, it was a serious nomination mate, I wouldn't have put your name forward if I didn't mean it! I thought it would be good to inject some youth into the committee. You along with Paul will give us a great presence in the wlg club.

I've seen the 88 325 around town.. See it all the time. Guy doesn't give it crap when i've seen him driving. Very mint from the outside, also had a look inside and it looked good. Last time I saw it was last Saturday, and I told the missus if it ever goes for sale I'd buy it.... I'll leave it up to Gus, he can have it! There's also a 320i with a mtech 2 kit, shadowlined etc, same colour as mine, but probably came straight from the factory like that. Also an 88. EDIT. I'm going to look at shadowlining soon. There's a signwriter on my way to work...
