This car is not mine but I am listing for the owner. 1986 BMW 323i sedan, converted in UK to Hartge H23 specs by approved dealer in 1988, all receipts, has 2.7 litre 525e based engine, camshaft, headers, Hartge wheels, suspension, spoilers etc. 127,000 miles, and very tidy condition. My son managed to shorten his E30 323 coupe by hitting a bank. Damage to left front includes the chassis rail. Any ideas on a good panelbeater in Wellington how can do chassis work?

Strut braces (and just about anything else you could possibly want for an E30) are available from Ireland Engineering in the States, prices are reasonable, service OK. Check them out at www.bmw2002.com

Thanks for the replies, guys. Yes, it is the M20 motor I am talking about. The motor is 2.7, and already has the head job (bigger ports, valves, cam etc) and headers, but the inlet side is all standard 323. So I am picking it will run lean at higher revs. (But I haven't had it running, yet) So, from the sounds of things, I can use the 325i airflow meter, throttle body and inlet manifold, but I need to change the circuit board in the AFM back the the 323 one to make it all compatible?

Has anybody done this? Did you just grind out the manifold at the throttle body end? Or should I try to get the 325 manifold? Would I use the 323i injectors? or the 325? And the 325 air flow meter? So many questions...

There is a 525ee at Turners in Auckland, damaged front and rear. If you buy for the head, I would like the short block...

Late request I know, But any of you guys going to manfield Sunday, I need some narrow wheel spacers and / or longer wheel studs to fit. E30, four x 100 stud.
