On a side note I saw you up Bastion Point yesterday, car was looking nice.
-
I've seen a black one in Parnell, it was super sexy because the carbon fibe roof and skirts were so subtle. Only thing was though he had the slicks on and it was pouring down with rain that night I went for a ride in an M5 in the weekend - I loved it!?!?!
-
He's a walking microphone. The facial hair was magic. Was a really good match even though we lost. Will deffinately be watching the tour.
-
I've seen a couple of guys on here and other cars driving round with 'German' looking plates. Where do you get these? Are the legal?
-
Funny you should say that, lastnight driving home I saw [XR8 V8] on a brand new Holden!?!?!?!
-
I'll go at some stage if I'm in Auckland. Was thinking about driving to the beach Friday night and going for a long wakeboard session. All depends on the weather and tides. If I am in Auckland I was thinking about going to the drags and then heading to dancing in the street.

I've sort of played with the idea of BMW drivers being arrogant wankers. On a side note - A mate and I were driving home from work tonight and had a psyco truck driver try and run us both into the median barrier a number of times - his boss has had complaints laid from us. Anyway my ideas; BMWNKR - It's available!! BMWHOR GLOAT ABRUPT CHASED ENTRAP EVADE I don't condone this one; R18 Plate

I voted keep them, without them it looks like there's something missing. They look good when they're on anyway.
-
Damn that's shiny, you can hardly see the car, you just see the trees reflections.
-
I think it's a wicked pic. Gotta love the ghost people.
-
I've just been talking to Brendon at FBI Performance in Avondale. He used to have the E36 strut braces and will let me know when he gets them back in stock. The one's for Hondas are $100 - $120. Will keep you posted.
-
I'm with Vent on this one - strut braces make a huge differnce. I had a BB4 Prelude like his before the BMW and they tighten the car up nicely. My E36 has a bit flex when going out of my driveway - dunno if those would help going through that though.
-
I was up there with some mates. I doubt anyone saw my car cos I hid it in the bushes/shade. I had a quick wander around the cars and must say that [1 M3 1] was gorgeous and I do love the old 6 series. Most fun part of the drive had to be the speed bumps in and out of the place. My car is damn low as it is but when you put in 3 big guys... Fun times.

Hey Ryan - it wasn't me in Kohi. I'll be down Mission Bay Sunday afternoon. Might give the UP FM thing a look too. I'm going out to Piha on SaturDAY for the George Beach party - should be good.
-
Sorry to steal you're thread Pam but I'm more blung than that baller.
-
Thanks for that 318is. Funny thing is that it's stopped that sound - should I be worried?
-
I bought a nice set of Jamex springs from Brendon at FBI in Avondale. Always good to deal with them.
-
I started the car up this morning and I could hear, what I believe to be, the distributor making a bit of a sound - sounds like the bearings are going(gone) as it happened in my Prelude. 14kms on the motorway, I get to work and it is considerably louder. Any ideas on this one guys? Is this a common fault?
-
It's hideous, I've always been a firm believer of less is more. This person obviously loves Fast and the Furious. :puke:
-
As much as I enjoy the Beamer I will be back into Hondas after this love affair is over. They just have way more bang for their buck. The biggest thing is the price of parts and they're relatively simple to work on.
-
320i - I love the sound of it when going really slow, it has a great low down rumble (the last lady owner put on a bigger exhaust ).
-
In mine the problem was the viscous coupling on the fan. It had died due to old age and when it was getting hot it wasn't spinning and cooling the radiator. CrazyLac had overheating problems too, so she might have some info on the situation.

Thanks for the comments peeps, will deffinately de-badge it - I'm going to do it tonight 318is - Funny thing is, my car is filthy in those pics, you should see it when I wash it. I'm not sure what mags they are, I've only seen them on a few E46's but they're deffinately not common and look damn nice, unfortunately all 4 have been curbed thanks to the last lady owner. I'm away at the beach for the next 3 weekends but a small meet down Mission Bay one Sunday afternoon would be good. Just to meet some people and show off our cars. Ryan

Thanks for the comments fellas. Ryan - Yeah my name is Ryan James McLaren. M3 lights are hella expensive if you can find them so I'm getting Brendan @ FBI Auto Accessories to price some Japanese ones for me Oh and the plate, I've blanked out a few of the numbers - left the middle ones on instead of blanking the whole thing out. I've been toying with the idea of badge removal - thankfully they're not drilled in so I might do it one Sunday afternoon. Really need to get the skirts out of the garage and onto the car.
