It wasn't aimed at you or anyone on here personally. There have been a number of tyre kickers promising finance this week etc... Gets rather annoying when trying to sell a car.

  3. First port of call FBI Performance in Avondale, failing that I got mine at N1 Kits. I only found out after that FBI was slightly cheaper.

    new pics! e36...

That's looking really good. It's a got a bit of bling bling on it but it's done tastefully. I see you've smoked your tails - I've been thinking about doing this too and already have a spare set of tails. Was it hard to do? My car is in the panel beaters this week have a new front guard put on, side skirts and eyelids painted and fitted - will post pics once it's done.

    Guard flaring :D

Don't want to throw a cat amongst the pigeons so to speak but man there are some stupid comments on this thread. The wheels on the rear are 10" wide, designed for an E36/E46 application. They are massive wheels and need flaring - not just rolling.

    Guard flaring :D

Believe me, they'll need more than rolling....
  9. Ok looks like I won't be doing it then... Will just have to use the Disco - it's Diesel so will be a cheap trip down, cruise control too!!
  10. But if I get a towbar it'll be good for parking in town... And look what I get to play with!!
  11. Hey guys, a random question I know but dad said lastnight I could take our boat out this summer by myself so I can take the boys away fishing and wakeboarding. Now the thing is the boat is at the beach house 2 hours away and if I wanted to take the boat out I'd have to drive the Discovery down. I'd rather drive my BMW. Would my auto 320i be able to tow a boat 500m down the road, put it up and down the boat ramp and back to the house (another 500m) without any hassle? Your thoughts? It's a 5.66m boat similar to the one below:
  12. I haven't had any problems with them since I put mine on in April. I've actually had a number of European people come and start talking to me asking if I was German Tilting your number plate is downright gay - no question about it.

    Nasty

I'm having a few beers in my office too (I work at the airport). This has blocked up the whole Mangere motorway. Will look at leaving around 6pm.
  14. I think I might change this too. I use my air con heaps during summer and winter come to think of it. Mine has picked up a rather unique smell (I'm sure someone has pissed on my car) so might change this to get rid of the smell an increase that chilly air flow.
  15. You did a great job with that car. Looked at it a couple of times at your work and had seen you in Mission Bay before. Good luck with the new car - 6 cylinders sound sexy
  16. Mine does the same thing and I've just gone over the 150km mark. I just take off in 'snow' mode in thr mornings which takes off in 2nd and keeps the revs low until it warms up. Then it's smooth as gravy Am looking to have the gearbox oil changed soon though as it's coming up to summer where I do a lot of open road long distance drives.

I've got the E46 with the V8 on my PC. Great watch. It sounds so raunchy - the high class sounding commentator tops it off.

Fark me it was warm down there. Not a bad day down there, always love watching the D1 and the crowd... I had to leave early too. I have to stripes of sunburn from where I sunblocked with a T on and then wore a singlet... :banghead:

    poor me

Where are you road tripping to and from? Sounds like a pretty long trip for 10 days. Just don't give those guys anything they want, I'm sure you could milk it. You probably won't have to pay for a drink the whole time
