My thoughts exactly... Can't put them on anything.I'm impressed at the balance of the car on the blocks. Well done Mr Thief.

I've sold my BMW so I've got the following parts for sale - all pretty average condition as I upgraded each of them while I had my car. SeatsBoth fronts and rear is also available. 10 CD StackerUnsure if it works as I took out the old head unit as it wasn't working properly. Tail lightsBoth sides, standard orange indicator. Quite rough condition - suit mad gangster tinting. SpringsGood old standard springs, maybe someones mum or grandmother interested? Possibly suit 4x4.

Just finished it and now I read your post... I got the info off bimmer DIY. Successfully broke both black levers before realisinging there were the teeny tiny tourque screws. Thankfully had some that fit so I fixed the gauges :bounce:

Hi guys, Was driving home lastnight, seemed be going a bit quicker than all other traffic even though the needle was on 110... Turns out the needle has stuck. I've got the cluster out but can't figure out how to get to the actual needle. How do I do it?

Got Smurf? Those rear wheels are WI-----DE

That's debatable... I was less than impressed with the arrogant wank sales man who treated me like any other 'kid off the street' and the install was appauling - who the f**k sits the speakers in the tray without screwing them in???Nice clean looking E32 though.

Don't go with the Angels, the clears look so much nicer on the front. A set of German Euro plates will look great too - totally changed the look of my car. Although mine just got stollen so make sure you glue them on!!

E46 is a great looking convertable - but not in M3 spec - I wouldn't want a car like that with the loss of rigidity through having no roof. I agree that most soft tops look ass with their roofs up - simply because they can't hold the shape. I have liked the Z4 since the moment I saw one - I think it's a much better looking car as it was designed as a roadster/soft top - not like an E46 etc. where they are simply taking the roof off and re-engineering around the problems encountered.

Sold to a smoking hot chick Deffinately not who I expected to buy it.

I don't have a problem with it, I like both songs. They are similar but it's not the end of the world is it? Interesting that both songs were produced by the same guy. The music world is full of things like this, I mean hell, there's only a limited amount of chords - I'm suprised it doesn't happen more often by accident though.

It can be used for; karting track days drag racing motorbike riding It's a good quality helmet for an affordable price.
-
Nah mate - I'm sporting a number 1 on the sides at the moment.
-
I went to use it and couldn't get it on my head - it had always been a snug fit as when I bought it I needed it ASAP and it was the biggest size left on the shelf.

In a bizarre turn of events my head has grown and I literally can't get my head into my helmet  As pictured below, it's a red/white/black Cirus HJ-10 (made by HJC but branded as a Cirus) in Large size (59-60cm), features a very handy quick release buckle, vents on the forehead and chin. Absolutely mint condition with a JDM shocker sticker gracing the back of it. Only 3 years old and been treated like a new born baby (not dropped). $100 Thank you - will try to get a better pic of it up.

Can I ask why you say it suits a 4 cylinder version as opposed to a 6?
-
What colour was it? We landed a silver one a while back but I'm dead certain it was for Continental Cars not Giltraps.
-
So who went? There were some beautiful cars there and some friggin rock ships. Only remember about it around 2pm so went for a walk through the Domain and watched it for an hour.
-
In my E36 the factory unit had two tiny black flaps that I flicked open to reveal two tiny little allen keys. Undo them and it unscrews to tabs that hold the head unit in then you can pull it straight out.
-
Should be worth a watch, some interesting cars come out of the woodwork for these events. The road up through the domain is bloody good fun...

Don't just attach a rear muffler, it will more than likely end up sounding like any other ricey fart can. On my 320i I have a 2.5" exhaust with one single resonator in the middle and the standard rear muffler. It has a beautiful idle and low speed sound and has quite a bark when gunning it. It originally had a muffler in the middle but this got torn to shreds by speed bumps so I went with the big resonator which was stronger being made of thicker steel, and also had the ability of being mounted higher.

It looks like one of those $2 shop bling bling cars - POS.

I saw this car at BP Cambridge on my last trip home from Taupo, it's even brighter in person - unlike the driver. He had a car load of slappers though... That colour only suits cars that go fast - McLaren race cars. The chromes are appauling...
-
I love the St Marks Rd on-ramp - I like using it as a little 'how fast can I get to 100km/h' patch of road. However... there can often be a fair amount of sitting water, if the wheels aren't on the tarmac traction control isn't going to do too much.

Interesting thread... This is what I'm currently contemplating once I've sold the E36. I'm looking for a 96/97 Integra Type R, can pick up a pretty tidy one for around $12K-13K at the moment. Put it on one hell of a diet - remove all interior, do I/H/E and install a VAFC computer with a full dyno tune, and do some suspension work - most likely Neuspeed race springs and eventually Bilstein shocks. Fun times for a bit of dragging but more importantly track days.

That is unbelievably ugly. What a waste of a car.
