You're correct. I forgot that I had the front spoiler and the front guards blended too. Still cheap IMO
-
Welcome. Enjoy yourself.

http://www.ocala.com/apps/pbcs.dll/section?category=news24 Have a look at the footage of the remnants of the car in the tabs on the right too. Plus there is a link to comments the dick made on the M5 forum.

I had a similar issue on the 540. I just got the whole bonnet done. It didn't cost much $500-600 off memory.

Welcome, I've never seen that colour before. Great example.

Bring it over to me. I'll take it for a strop and let you know. -
Told you that you needed a 5 series Andy! Good luck with those.
-
That's just wrong! I hope it was a wreck.

They are my photos, yes. Andrew and I were working the timing system when Den got taken out by the Fords. Skope is the best classic car meet in the country. I will take my video camera down with me next time.

I'd bet luck had nothing to do with it. A nice pair of cars, even better to see him making use of them.

Welcome. It looks nice. Interesting to see twin pipes on it too.
-
Well done, welcome. Good area to take the photos too. Good to see another manual.
-
Welcome. Have a great time.

Lovely car. Welcome. I'm sure you're enjoying having it on the road too.

And the after footage. http://nz.youtube.com/watch?v=-cwe7tFM3gc

There is no price Alex.

Get a Jeep Wrangler. They win in the cool stakes. You'll get a good one for less than $20k. You'll struggle to pass a petrol station though.
-
So do E30 M3's and they are commanding more than $50k. I wouldn't expect an E28 M5 in great condition (which that one is) to get any lower in value.
-
No, I got mine from 0800racebrakes.

Good to see Lindsay and Scott are copying our "Swichtec days". They are heaps of fun. Yes, Lindsay's touring car is the 3rd sister or our 2. Ex Frank Gardiner cars from the Brabham/Longhurst days. I'll plan a trip for the next one we have and get in car footage from as many of the vehicles as possible. As I can't get to Skope this year.

The OEM rotors are very good. If you can find a better deal on Brembo's then buy them, but they are more expensive generally. I have Mintex 1166 pads on ours and they are superb. Much less dust and endless braking performance.

Welcome. Lovely cars. Rxsumo also has one (at least). We'll look forward to seeing it around.

True. And one of it in motion. Just a quick idle up the drive to the first roundabout. http://nz.youtube.com/watch?v=ZpfrhqZbMbc Edit for link.

Sweet. I'll let you know as soon as I have plans. Here is a video of the old girl started from cold. http://nz.youtube.com/watch?v=Ih4TQwCsq9w

Those wheels look like they are brand new. Not a scrape on them. Nice car.
