I must admit to using my front fog lights in the past on the run. I agree that they are fog lights and should be used in poor visibility conditions. The rears are the worst. I don't think mose people realise that they are the same wattage as the headlight, so drive around with them on. People this ignorant, shouldn't be allowed on the road. I do drive with my headlights on during the day, so other people see my grey car on the road. Do some driving in the Australian Outback (or somewhere similar) and you will appreciate this courtesy. Conversely, I had had the misfortune of having to do a few trips to the Waikato in the last week, and strike the obligatory fog. The amount of people who are driving without lights on amazes me.

In theory, if your car had cats fitted, they need to be fitted again. However, no-one seems prepared to cough up the money to do the testing, so I can't see it happening soon.

I believe that Remus (Retro products) do a high flow cat for around $600 each. Much cheaper than the $1500 per for genuine BMW ones. I must say, I have had mine removed and have had no problems. But, as it was designed to comply with ADR regs, I don't know whether they did anything to the ECU. Haven't dyno'd it since. Maybe it's time.

Looking forward to seeing the project! Welcome. Imagine what you could get from an M60.

And straight from Carl's missive. Being English you probably have a good grasp of the correct use of the language and grammer so no need to explain forum ettiquette to you then That would be Grammar. Grammer, must be his Mothers Mum.

Welcome, Very nice. I also love those wheels. A 'B' road weapon.

Hi Jock, yes, we do. We had a baby on 31st April, so it could have been one of many people touring to visit us, as it was still the spare car then. It has now been put back into active service for Deb & Elise. She seems to like the V8 anyway . Now demoted the Honda to the visitors car.

Take it to Richard at DCH Motorsport and ask him.

Good advertisement for BMW driving instructors!

Mine is a small button between the left and right toggle switch. E34 though obviously.

No, Monza is North of Milan. Maranello is the home of Ferrari, not Modena. Modena is the province that it is in and why Ferrari's have yellow as a colour (Modena's colours). http://www.galleria.ferrari.com/galleria/i...anguage=ENGLISH You can't get into the factory without an invite. It was hard enough to get in with an invite, the general public have no chance. Standing in front of the factory and watching the test pilots bring each new car off the line and out the front gate is worth it. Galleria Ferrari is awesome.

You were so close and didn't make time to get to Maranello! What happened to the picture of the new Lada touring car?

Ultra Tuff Mufflers Address: Totara St Mt Maunganui Phone number: 0-7-575 9999 See this guy in the Mount. He quoted me less than $400 to make me a new rear muffler. He does the high performance mufflers for Retro products. Always has Classic cars in there too.

Haha, you have been trained in the way of the Lyall, you could spot a loop-hole Conrad. I think that the rules have been written well and exclude a lot of "the guy with the most money wins" mods. However, that rule will always be true. Someone that can afford to have Ernie (or the like) build them a 'stock' motor regularly will always be better off than those who run their car for an entire season without refreshing parts. If enough cars are in the field, then it will be good racing, I'm unsure about the spectacle. And I'm too lazy to build my own car. So I'll look forward to seeing the first season. Looking forward to the AGM.

bumpstop325 would be Tim, the man who can roll a truck trailer full of wool bails going around a roundabout and has an Evil E30 335i. Manages to pull a few decent chicks too. Shame, I'm got going to Palmy anymore. Catch you in Tauranga sometime Tim. Good Luck Shelly.

And my favourite. I might have to get this for the new baby car.

Milan has a 7 series you could rent out. It's about the same size as a room in those suburbs. We've got a granny flat, but we're in a decent suburb!

I'm in for that.

Our one. Debbie Chapman's 540 for those who can't figure it out.

I seem to remember someone doing more damage to a very new Testarossa in the past. We only sold it 3 years ago. Once fixed properly it was still a great car (and still better than a never crashed Ford). Go for it Conrad, get it ready for the Super GT's!!
