It's a Hillman Imp Dave. 875cc rear mounted motor. I had one as my daily runabout when I lived in CHC. Heaps of fun. Porous block though. It would out handle a mate Fiat 850 around Hoonapuna.

You are correct, none of the JPS cars were there, 635 or E30's. That Blue car is a 1906 Darracq F1 car, 14.25l 4 cylinder and capable of 100mph (160kph) and was Malcolm Campbell's first Bluebird. The Sidchrome Imp was Jim Richards cars and he will be racing it in the classic series shortly. Dunedin Street race at least, I've been told. Tony Mann has done a great job with it. So no-one got decent photos of the Super Tourers then. I'll post and old one then until I can post the other series.

The distance error is on your odometer, not speedometer. My OBC shows the correct speed and at 110kph (on Speedo) the OBC shows 103kph.

These aren't from this week-end, but the car was there.

The Lambo looked good and sounded loud. It was running 1:37's though. Either the guy couldn't pedal it or was just having trouble. We got video of him sliding it around the sweeper. A real shame the Leyton House 962 didn't get out during lunch on Sunday. It was a really rough looking one up close, but the Judd F1 motor was beautiful. The photo is not it, it is a genuine Leyton House 962. The one in the racing school was CF only. The NZ built 962 is a higher quality IMO. Same guys owns both cars, I believe.

Not a problem really. I'm taking the Falcon Wagon for the trip. 2 of us with luggage for a work trip.

True Conrad, the British designed Fords are light years ahead of the Australian and American designed cars. Any Cosworth or Shelby is worth owning.

In his blog, Cutts wrote that the methods used by BMW were a violation of the search engine's guidelines, and that a second company, camera maker ricoh.de will be removed soon for similar reasons shortly. “Don’t deceive your users or present different content to search engines than you display to users”, said Cutts on his blog entry. The delisting will mean that searching for terms like "BMW" or "BMW Germany" on Google will not return a direct link to the car company's German website, bmw.com.de, but instead the global site. Moreover, bmw.com.de's PageRank, the algorithms that assign every page on the web a sort of popularity ranking, has been reset to zero. Many big publishers and website owners enlist the help of Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) experts to help improve search appeal in search engines, and while most methods are acceptable, some are deemed to be unethical. These so-called black hat tactics are commonly used by gambling or pornography sites. BMW is thought to be one of the highest profile companies to have a website blacklisted by Google.

Mate, where do you start. I have a 2005 Falcon Wagon as a company car. At least it has an OHC motor, but leaf springs and a live rear axle! Transmission and motor are better than the last model. Car rattles more and still isn't as good as a 10-11 year old 540.
