I brought some mainly cause they went with the blue theme on the underside of my car, and anything urethane in my eyes = win. Do notice my car sits a little higher at the rear with them in, I brought 10mm ones.

^ Nick I am not blaming it on you one little bit, you did a great job organising it so don't fret, I have had heaps of bad experiences with NZ post lately. I like the look better without the lids anyway. Thanks man, really appreciate it, I think I really got the look right this time. Future is mainly: (will change as I change my mind like the wind), saving up for 6 months then aiming to: - Motor pull in the summer for a head rebuild and a dirty shrick cam thrown in, motronic 1.3 conversion so I can chip/remap the ecu. - Urethane engine and gearbox mounts. - Front and rear strut braces. - New urethaned sway bar links + new links. - Lightened flywheel with Redline Gearbox fluid flush. - Slotted rotors front and rear - Some cheap 15' wheels for my r888's for track days. - Get a clubsport licence.

^ Nah this exhaust will never be touched, it sounds like utter sex. Yup see you Friday. FYI Simon etc, I took the eyelids off and it looks heaps better, was worth a try though. Pictures to come Except one of my mirrors fell out of the holder and broke so hopefully sort one before friday. Just drove 60km and I am in love again, fantastic noise, handles amazing, looks amazing, now to keep this one square

Lunchtime teasers. There are no words, apart from I am bloody stoked! Brief two min run around the block. Points to note. - Car sounds tits. - LSD locks up far far far better with a urethane diff mount + new redline fluid. - Brake pads slightly rub on wheels, will go for a drive after giving it a clean and rub the edges off the new pads. - Now time to commence suspension set up testing. - Wheel alignment tomorrow. Enjoy friends.

It's bloody fixed!!!!!!!!!11111!!1 Massive ups to my Dad, who spotted it a mile away. I had three bolts going through the driveshaft flange, through the guibo straight onto the gearbox. Shouldve had another three bolts separating the load, hence making the damper work properly and taking out the vibration as opposed to having the driveshaft straight on the gearbox. I am a idiot. Never want to see another driveshaft again biggest n00b fail evar. Doesn't help that he undid that half of the car and I had no idea how it really looked when the balancer was on, oh well trap for young players. least it is driveable and skiddable now Thanks to everyone for their input on this thread.

K so car is getting power to the window switch, which means busted connection in door and or busted window motor. And the bloody driveshaft is fixed...wooooooooooooo Few bits to tidy and a rear sway bar to fit and its done done done :D

Looking good Ashkan, if you still want those gauges, let me know, I finally recieved the oil adapter yesterday, so it's all here if you want it.

^ One side works, swapped the switches and didn't make a difference. I will clean everything and see what I can do. Cheers, Martyn

And westy, yeah but the balancer is only 2mm think alloy...so I was thinking maybe adding a few washers. On many of the other forums I have looked at, they have removed without problems. I think it now had nothing to do with this, it was probably the loose gearbox mount which flowed onto everything else breaking down the driveshaft.

Photos: Edit: WOW BIGGEST PHOTOS EVAR Probably won't help alot. Can see how one of the 3 edges isn't sitting on the bench, like it has twisted.

^ Nah nah Jase, just teeny scrapes, me being a perfectionist Photo coming up Ian, it has no cracks or any sign of wear, IIRC it was a newish one from previous owner/s

^ Leaking coolant = loose hose = easy fix Electric window = no idea Driveshaft = see my other thread in maintence, Speedo = some idiot (i.e me) didn't put the plug on properly on the diff Washer fluid light = ultimate noob fail, forgot to fill the reservior up lol So just the electric window is beyond me, everything else is just me being in a rush to refit everything. It's just a tempremental e30 Dan, I am sure you know what those are like

^ Righty. Got it undone. Just required a big bench vice, stilsons and some scratches on the driveshaft, but hidden now with some satin black paint and sanding and filing So can put new bearing in. Anyone have a answer to my guibo q'n? Please!
-
^ I can't seem to undo the locking collar, thats what I am yarning about in the other post

Right so, good morning this morning, got the exhaust and driveshaft back off. - Got a new hanger bearing mount thanks to Ian (Hartage). - Have checked the u-joints and they seem to be smooth as butter. - My guibo should be entirely flat on both sides right? Cause it has a slight bend in the middle probably from all the vibration. - My only problem is I can't get the two halves of the driveshaft apart I usually have mates to help me, with a big pair of stilson grips or a big bench vice but I can't seem to have enuf grunt to get it off. Anyone got any tips? or should I leave it for someone to help me tension it. Cheers, Nathan
