Wheel alignment recommendations in Wellington
Forrest replied to bekker's topic in Brakes, Suspension & Steering
Total Performance in Petone are good, abeit expensive, did a good job on my old e30 race car -
My old wheels had Kingstars on them, did not like being pushed in any conditions at all.

^ I am looking for something a little cheaper than the weaves and still waiting for Andrew to get back to me.
-
I still think the worse thing you can do to a BMW to make it ricer is add 'M' badges or M3/M5 badges to a plain jane 3/5 series. Apex, we should make a thread with a photo of each members cars then have a judgement panel i.e Kingkarl to rate how ricer our cars are haha, make it compulsory in members profile or something.
-
^ Didn't mean to cause offence Apex or anyone else, I still think there is a bit of a 'upper class' society on here of those people who don't like people who modify their cars in certain ways but each to their own is the way to look at it. I am all for subtle modifications, nothing too over the top as doing a 'ricer mod' would suggest.

^ Actually once saw a guy that had used a vivid to give his fuel filler door a carbon weave effect
-
In before the purists sh*t all over this thread...... Still think those bolt on 'brembo' caliper covers are worse than painting them a bright color
-
What about painting your calipers to hide from wof inspectors the fact you attacked your calipers with a angle grinder ???
-
Bumpity bump, surely someone has something cheap out there!!!!!!
-
Looks like the new color will suit it heaps better IMO, are wheels being swapped as well? Something dished with black centers would be awesome.
-
Given this thread was 2 months old...I used this ^ Good stuff.
-
^ Yeah I am pretty sure they are the same Eibachs, I just don't know what length they are, I want to say superlow, but they aren't that 'low'
-
Those shocks are a great fit Looking mint Jase
-
Don't really have anything to trade, but if you wana sell the jamex rears John I would be keen, hopefully the higher profile on my tyre will offset how low they are on your car
-
^ Stupid question to anyone reading this, cbf'd making a thread, I have no idea how low the current Eibach's are in the rear, how am I able to find a lower spring, is it more of a comparision of the length top to bottom? Or the actual spring rate. Noob as.
-
^ Haha no, its not that kind of loose, just feels a bit wander'y?? Only other thing I could thing of was that the rear is a little higher than the front, maybe some lower springs is in order.
-
^ They are brand new Koni Race Series Adjustiables, set on a comfortable soft setting for road driving. It might just be a placebo effect
-
^ Email our forum sponsor Gavin at Euro Italian, hooked me up with one for my 325, was like $60 shipped, you miles well spend the extra and get a brand new one. Also check your idle control valve and clean it with throttle body cleaner and check other surrounding hoses for vacume leak as well to stop the erratic idling.
