  2. Nah ill put some up tmoro, its pretty pathetic 2bh, made some nice skid marks though, my mates pride was hurt more.
  3. Just to confirm: I AM KEEPING IT
  4. You know it. Also, road bikes glittered with carbon fibre , just about love it as much as my e30
  5. Heath: I love Pug 205's so much, but I have been looking and there is nothing out there that is still 'cool', fun to drive, newer and more reliable within my price range so I am looking to at the moment keep the E30 and save over the summer to do the track sprints etc properly, but not spend anymore on the car (doesn't really need anything when put up against my level of driving anyway). Jimmy: Yeah I think I am going to try and avoid selling it at the moment it is just way to fun to drive. DW I have a close eye on Anthony from up the street, he has inherited alot of cool bits off my old race car and is planning to m50 it in the summer, so it is in good hands, I will get him to get off his ass and put a thread up so you can see, it is looking good So basically the thing that won me over is that I can't buy anything that puts a smile on my face like the '30 does, I more than likely wouldn't downgrade to another I would look for a e36/other euro. Just when you sitting at 80kph in 3rd gear joining onto the motorway, you feel the LSD squirming as you put your foot down, the m20 starts howling all the way to 5000rpm+ and 110k+, and you get that grin, I knew I had to keep it
  6. I am about to go take it for a drive...hopefully I can do what Frantic did and convince myself not to sell it.....

I am looking at a 306 S16 to replace the E30 with.... Maybe we need a different thread just for Heath to explain Peugeot pro's and cons Something like this one would be awesome Si, and it is cheap http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-241788286.htm If I had 3k I would just about buy it tomorrow

156's...so cheap atm, do it. As long as they don't break like all Alfa's usually do weekly.
  12. Edited, with price changes and Borbet's added.
  13. Story of my life right now, am in EXACTLY the same boat as you, except I am 20. Hope you make the right decision, I blimin hope I am
  14. I have a spare 12mm one if anyone wants one. The 325i convertible one on my car is awesome Just need some links for bar -> trailing arm mounts as I broke one.
  15. My bad I started the "lets all be realistic and sell our e30 projects disease"

If your serious about getting Borbets, mine could be for sale soon, with or without tyres, could do you a deal if you were interested.

Nah my mate has them on his FL and they rub on the brakes also, less than mine cause he has a 320 and the calipers are smaller. My car had FL calipers on it anyway.

Looking good man, hope that sway bar turned up IMO don't go for Borbets unless you want to run spacers on the front, not worth the hassle trying to get them to fit, I took around 5mm off the front face of a 325i caliper (slightly wider) and another 2-3mm of the edge of the caliper carrier near the hub to get them not to rub, along with the sharp edge of the brake pad. Not worth the hassle IMO unless you can justify 5-10mm spacers.
  19. Cheers guys for the support. One massive factor to change was after running a top 20 fastest half marathon by a New Zealander last year, and seeing your chance at going to the Olympics in 2016/2020 disappearing before your eyes, I thought I better get my ass into gear at start making running a priority again Hopefully I can get a nice e30 and still keep the BMW passion alive
