Not a BMW, but thought it was worthy for teh lulz. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-241789876.htm Door cards are enough fail as it is, but check the photos of the whole car, and some people expect to sell their cars And before you ask it was off a 'car you may like' wasn't trawling for RB20 sh*t. Spotted a Black E46 M3 Cabrio on 19' CSL Wheels parked in the CBD this morning. The only model cabrio I would ever own.

Andrew, no I have decided to keep it my other option was looking not very cost effective. At the end of the day I would rather go fast than look good.

Okay so I thought I better add some progress. Car is being prepped and tweaked for a track day on Saturday so I have decided to change a few things, who can blame me I get bored easily Wanted to go back to a slightly more stealth OEM look, I think I took it a little too close to ricer but thats what modifying cars does to you. Don't have any photos as the car is in bits, but will put some up later in the week. Additions: 22mm Whiteline Front Sway Bar Clear indicators and Redded tails are removed for OEM orange Alpina Replica Fibreglass Front Splitter Improved Cold Air Intake Sold HID headlights and originals to go back in Sold Suede Wheel and Tech 1 Wheel back in its place Sold Nismoesque Shifter and a OEM e30 one is in its place Removed Cruise Control Module out of engine bay Removed Headlight washer/adjusters out of engine bay Interior south of the front seats is stripped Fusion speakers are gone and just have OEM fronts now 15' Basketweaves will be wrapped in my Toyo R888's and used as my main wheels apart from a set of bottlecaps which will be for extended distance driving Borbets are to be sold Front and Rear Upper Strut Braces are on order from AAP Imports Pics will be up soon That is basically it, starting to get a little more serious, but decided to still leave it subtle, a lot like a E46 M3 CSL (stripped, semi slicked and set up for track days, but still comfortable enough for daily driving). E30 325i CSL anyone ?

^ Patience is a virtue
-
^ Nah I thought I would keep the purists happy and leave the decals off, otherwise there would be nothing else remotely Alpina on my car haha, would be just about as bad as me putting a M badge on because I have motorsport seats LOL
-
Man I saw that car before, like identical color to mine too, except 4 door. Yeah I know it will be, and my car will be a lot lower than that and have lower profile tyres on xxxxx wheels next week so I am going to have to be ultra careful Maybe a bit more diagonal driving on speed humps for me Oh and John, I love that look ay, especially with no side skirts, and the massive (mini) whale tail on the back so awesome

^ Thats not the price I am paying I do have a brain lol. Yeah thats what I am swaying to at the moment instead of paying $150 ish to have it done by a pro.

Hey guys, So I am about to pick up this on trade me for my e30: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=243637618 and I am replacing the upper front valance which will need to be painted also and I want to redo my tech1 wing. Main question is, does anyone think I could get away with spray painting the valance + splitter without it looking terrible since most of it is hidden? obviously the wing and the upper piece of the valance can be done with a spray can because it is less noticable if a less than perfect job is done, I was just wondering on peoples opinions mainly for the splitter, wether to can it or take it to a shop. What it should look like on my car (roughly the same style) This probably sounds like the retardest thread ever, I was just wondering what people thought would be the best bang for buck. The car is no show car atm either, just the way I like it. Cheers, Nathan
