  2. was my education crap or did that make very little sense. Even if it did make sense, grammer police would ping you for that whole sentance.
  3. sounds like a ... 'my dad could beat up your dad' argument.
  4. I might just make it. Me and hte old man are heading over to Tauranga via Waihi to pickup my E30 race car.
  5. check the little sensors attached to the hubs are all plugged in and not fangled.
  6. means that your brake pads somewhere along the line are worn to the point where metal is hitting metal and connecting hte circuit to the brakepad lining sensor. This means that your pads may need to be changed. Mine sometimes flickers on and off, I was told by my mechanic that the pads are fine, its just they are not OEM brand ones and dont bed properly but is nothing to worry about. Have them checked sometime.
  7. RS Edition? I dont know much about Mitsi's but am told these are your typical 88' vr4.
  8. Pretty decent deal for anyone interested. Bidding is at $100 so far, cheap considering cheapest I've seen them is around the $650 mark. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...on-84164639.htm
  9. Hi guys, My friends car was just stolen within the last 2 hours (aroudn 12:30-1pm) from outside his house in Hamilton White 1988 Mitsubishi Galant VR4 RS edition 4 door sedan Number plate: TL 2661 One of only 500 ever made and was told one of only 4 that they know of in NZ. So a very rare sortafter car. This car is in stock unmodified condition, the only distinguishing feature we can think about right now is that it has the black lourves over the rear window, most of these cars have had these come off at sometime erather. Am trying to organise pictures, will see what I can do. If you see the car, have any information or know of its whereabouts please give Garry a call on 021 476 389

  11. Dont get this caught up with teh team @ Hamilton Coombes, they are fantastic and we've never had this problem or any problems for that matter with them, and have been servicing with them for over half a decade. Go stick some bimmersport stickers on their front door and tell them you were just returning the favour.
  12. congratulations to you both. I bet Ash can already spell better than half the mungs on here.

SR20DET worked. Prob most popular E30 turbo.
  14. all they're done is taken the chrome surroundings of the headlights and vinyled them the same colour as the other signwriting they're done to help it stand out a little more. I've done the same on my race car, just to blacken things up a bit more. Cheers Andy

  16. at the moment, mostly made up on working on the race car, getting small things done or doing chunks of big jobs.

  20. back in aucks - told ya so... I'm sure I told you that ages ago, never trust anyone.. especailly when cars are involved.
  21. sub $1500 will probably get you a car thats more rust than car. Goto the local techbooks or automotive book store and have a read of the E30 restoration bible. In there its got alot of ocmmon faults, where to look for rust etc. its very good. I might know of something you might be interested, I'll get back to you after I get back from holiday. Cheers Andy
  22. wtb. some E30 325i calipers and some good 325i brake discs if possible. Cheers Andy

    Alley's new broom...

lovely car, looks much stauncher with the subtle mods done to it. Personally I'm not sure whether I prefer more black trim, over 100% colour coded but so far it looks brilliant. Boot big enough for the dogs? My guess is a 318i touring with the single vent front valance.
