Hi guys, Is there such a thing - looking for a transparent protective film to use on my headlights for the race car. Checked down at repco they couldnt suggest anywhere that might help. Cheers Andy

contrary to popular belief, theres someone at Repco takanini who knows wat they're on about anyway.. they were saying .. the autotechnica bosskits / sportline ones wont necessarly fit quite a few momo wheels despite being for there respective car models. So there might be some conflict along the lines. Thats so not helpful - I'll be putting my momo on soonish too - are you using the same brand ie. momo momo or sportline sportline.

yes - the only difference being is the auto surround has 2 brackets that hold it down. You can unscrew these brackets off and your left with what you'd find if you had a manual centre console.

- no fogs - no air con - no sunroof - no rev counter - windy windows - european rear numberplate holder - grey cloth seats (with vinyl door cars ?) classic NZ New 316i characteristics. Also they came with hubcaps not bottlecaps, but I mean .. the first thing I did to mine was change it to bottlecaps so I wouldnt be surprised if the previous owners of yours did the same. Emma's is still rolling on hubcaps. The only thing you dont know that may benefit you is as far as I know all NZ New 316i's came out with a 1.8L block. It was just part of hte NZ spec ones, which isnt seen on imported versions. If you wish to check I can show you where to find hte code on the engine but its really hard to get to.

I was under hte impression orange taillights are standard on every E36 bar the M3' Evolution models. Some may come upgraded, but not standard with them.

another factor to take into consideration - E30 central locking systems can and sometimes do fail, just keep in mind thiis a nearly 20 year old car.

shorty was seling some a while back - might still have one. Check the old forsale section for member named "shorty" or ring european autospares www.europart.co.nz as she used to work there, not sure if she still does and they might have some still.
