Hey man, I'm not sure how much it'll cost for shipping. But if you can organise a pickup and deliver service, I'll provide the details and box it up for ya. I'll see if I can find the receipt for the gearbox conversion I sold, this company sent it to Napier for a pretty reasonable price delivered. Will drop you a pm when I get the details. Thanks, Andy

a double glazed 7 series would have done nicely, ahh well..

Grammer police cant be far away - paragraphing would make it much easier to read. - fullstops then capital letters Great story, but hard to read. Also would be useful to put the pictures in between tags as they're useful pics and saves people clicking. I sound gay, and i am but i'm sure you appreciate the advice, no hard feelings.

The front driver seat seems fine, fabric in good condition, a couple of rips but still tidy but keep in mind it needs rails. There seems like theres a little bit of play in the back rest and its a common problem with the E30's. May need to be remedied. There is a slight tear in teh vinyl on the centreconsole side, but i think that wont be seen once installed. Passenger seat seems rooted mechanically and I wouldnt bother trying to fix. Part of the sale is you must take both, hence why they are so cheap. Cheers Andy

Brand new Unused BMW H7 12V 55W headlight bulb. Unsure what model it will fit, part number 63 21 7 160 780. $5 pickup.

pics of bottlecaps as per request. Some curbing here and there, pic of the mag with some scratches and lossing its finish. The scraches are just superficial. Only one tyre looks to have warrantable tread, the others have uneven tread from camber.

Just missed out on the one Silverfox was selling. Must be original momo and preferably with everything. Cheers Andy

I suggest you do what was mentioned early and put the hard-drive in a USB enclosure, if you can run it as a slave drive, your desktop might be able to repair it for you. Or you could get a IDE removeable tray drive for your desktop, get a IDE -> Laptop HD converter and then run it as a slave HD if running it as USB formfactor doesnt work. Running it as a slave, it should detect inconsistancys on the drive upon startup, and automatically try and bandage up the harddrive, keep in mind sometimes you can lose data, but generally its enough that you can run it at least as a secondary drive and retrieve all your information off before it dies for good.

I'll probably be up in Papakura this weekend. Give me a txt 0274657338 on saturday afternoon. Tyre or not?
-
nice work Ryan, wow, from supercheap to jerry clayton, must be the ry-factor kicking in again.
-
I lolled, when you put location as Papakura, you get a few assumptions huh. Trademes been a bit of a dog lately, I bought something at $1 reserve for a buck, the guy doesnt seem to want to get ahold of me. Tis a pain in the butt.

At my parents place in Papakura, From memory, the seats themselves are fine, but not sure about hte tilting / mounting mechanisms asi was intending to chuck them out after getting hte rails off. Good seats no less. I'll grab some pics when im in Aucklands next Will, just got a new job so less time spent up in Auck working on the race car. They arent in the car, so you'll be getting shots of htem removed. Cheers Andy

Yeah it really depends what sort of buyer you find, for $50k you can get a M5 2001 on 120,000km's at the moment which is pretty damn cheap. Cheapest E46 M3 is another 5k on that. I would have thought your car would fit in the 30-35k bracket but look into getting a redbook valuation if your worried price is going to affect your interest. They'll give you a more accurate value of the car.

1989 E30 320i Royal Blau - the shizzler! guzzled gas at a phenominal rate but so mint condition, very tidy condition and low km's. - Engine snapped a rocker, was sold. 1990 E30 316i Zinnoberrot - the zinnobitch - one owner, reconditioned engine, new paintjob yet still a bit of a pinky - pwned by a boyracer down Elliot Street Papakura. 1989 E30 318i Mtech 2 - Atlantis Blau - Shizzael - still going strong, lovely car , good economical (slow) daily driver. 1988 E30 320i Diamond Swartz Metallic - My E30 Racer - shes in bits but soon to be out on the track having loads of fun.

my plates are surely just as reflective, as big and as readable as the standard, so long as they have the correct letters and numbers on them, they will be staying on my car.

The fuse in question I believe covers alot of electrical things, incl reverse lights, instrument cluster etc etc. I dont think it could isolate it, and more just a genuine fault.
