I suppose it's not a big deal but I felt like mentioning it anyhow. If you come across cars listed, usual UK imports which have the odometer in miles, the sellers always seem to put in how many miles the car has done in the KM bar, for example a car thats done as described, 114,000KM but then at the bottom they have in bold, "mileage is in miles" So the cars actually done nearly 183,000 kilometers! What I dont get is why don't they change the miles to KM so they have a true reading in the mileage bar, and then explain that is actually displayed in miles in the car. It just seems like a way to confuse a lot of potential buyers, as they see the km reading and think its done less travel than its actually done. (lets face it lots of people don't read the description properly so would probably miss the miles explanation) No big deal I suppose but its enough to be irritating.

Did you find the upgrade to the M50 intake + being tuned made much difference? I am trying to convince a friend to do that to his 328i.

Looks nice, but a pity the grille has lost its chrome finish.

Nice to look at but I would Imaging owning one would be a headache.

Sounds great Nelson. 2JZ-GTE would be an engine I would also look at putting into a BMW following my 1UZ experiment. I must say personally I would probably do an E39, but an E28 is much more of a classic BMW, so kind of a restoration at the same time, both would be great conversions never the less. -
I'm pretty sure I used to see this often last year driving about in Glenfeild, on Ellice Road while I owned my 540i Was a tidy looking car!

With the stock motors yeah, but you need to do extractors to really get the gains. You would be looking at least $1000-1500+ for decent exhaust system, if not more. Depends what quality you want. You can also retune the stock ECUs to get the most out of the new exhaust.

Yeah, just get a lower mileage used engine. Plenty to go around at a fraction of the price. It's just more cost effective that way.

Welcome. Ha, I was going to say put a 1UZ into it as a joke, but read further and you said that as a suggestion. Do it!

Are these springs rusty?
-
Yeah it was quite, sure it had its good points, but also a lot of unfunny lame stuff they have thrown into it and only 6 episodes! Jeeezze.. Top Gear from series 10-13 were some of the best ever.

That could be useful! Thank you Quinn. What brings you to Germany anyhow, if you don't mind me asking?

list of mods to make a e36 look alil better.
[email protected] replied to Heino's topic in General Discussion
I don't think there are cheap easy mods. -
What Glen said. I don't think its that expensive, seems pretty much the usual price for such parts, I know Lexus SC400/Soarer front arms are expensive at the dealers. All part of owning a decent car
