I was a Lexus nut case for years before trying out some BMWs Had about 6 Lexus model cars, but the driving experience of a BMW is FAR superior to that of an old man Lexus, they just have good motors. -
That is looking fantastic!

That is an awesome track car. Looks to have been an expensive build? -
Fair call in that case!

I wouldn't even consider touching Sony or Fusion gear. But if your wanting to pay little then they will do the job. As they say, you pay for what you get.

I love Americans. The decent ones anyway. Welcome to the forum, enjoy it here.

Welcome. A good idea in my opinion would be to find a tidy Auto 320i or 325i and then convert it to run an M50B25 or M52B28 with a manual box. Classic light car with a modern engine.. can't go wrong if you're prepared to pay for it. -

What a pile of cack Send it to the crusher! -
You should get some plastic looking chrome wheels made in China to match those drink bottle recycled plastic headlights. Would have a good theme going then.

Welcome Matt. Looking good. Seems you're into tweaking the pictures huh?

Exactly. In all seriousness that is dumb having a road car that low. I mean, the result speaks for itself. Cars at that height should be left for sole use on a track.

Intriguing. So where are these manufactured?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Man_on_Wire This would have to be one of the most mesmerizing documentaries I have ever seen. Covers the story of Phillippe Petit's wire walking stunt between the tops of the World Trade Center towers in 1974. Simply fascinating, I highly recommend you take a look...

Ryan your paint is superb. A testament to your care! My paint work is pretty good on the whole. Needs a few touch ups here and there though. I should clean it on my day off next week... put my Autoglym products to use!

Cleaning out Scuttle/Cowell Drains... (E36 Coupe)

Hmmm how are you planning to clear the blockages if they are present? I recently used a blow vac to clear out all the crap under my vent cover, so many leaves and other bits of debris -

Yeah you can get a M50B25 for rather little, but you would need the full loom and stock ECU, so that alone becomes another drama. ( I would assume its totally different to the older M20 engine?) Both setups. Any time you go FI you're going to need more fuel flow. -

Which motor do you have? I think it could be more advisable to buy an iron block M50B25 engine and work that, then drop it in your car replacing the older 2.5 engine. Just a suggestion but thats what I would do, means it would be off the road for a shorter time and you get the gains of having the newer 24v engine. Definitely headers and at least a piggy back tune, not sure if the stock fuel system would cope, but I would imagine you would want up upgrade all of that (pump/injectors) -

Yeah I hear you. Not sure, a supercharged six 2.5 would go well, I suppose it would feel more like a 3.5L six with the increase in low end torque. You would only need to run 5 psi or so for a reasonable gain. Just the custom fabrication of a runner/adaptor for the supercharger would be the trick. I would probably fit individual throttle bodies, but then the ECU would also need attention, though you would want ECU work to get the best out of it. As always, depends how much you're wanting to spend. -

Oh yeah M62 is out there too. Would be a better match. -

Hmmm any reason you're not going for a turbo kit? I would suggest to use an M45 Eaton over a SC14, but that means a new custom intake runner setup.
