When i got the car i first thought it was the rain sensor but then i noticed that its not listed on my build sheet so i am at a bit of a loss as to what it might be, It does not have a part number on it to try and track it down. It appears to be just stuck to the screen.

My e46 has the business cd/radio (single slot up front) but no stacker in the boot. Its pre-wired for it though. jochen gave me a good link to a system where you can use an sd/usb but its a bit on the pricy side for me.I have been looking at the latest DICE system, It looks pretty much plug and play so all i would have to do is pickup a cheap ipod to put all my music on. Anybody else run one of these units. Cost is $153 USD plus postage (dunno how much that will cost). So at around the $210nzd mark that's not to bad of a price to have all your music on tap i would have thought. Pro's / Con's ??

Yeah was a good buy, Way over my budget though , Gonna have to be cutting back on a few things to pay this off , But its relative , The transmission on my e36 was starting to show signs of the famous jerk so i thought now was a good enough time to move up and into some large debt.

As some of you may have noticed in another thread i have taken the plunge and upgraded my beemer. You may like it you may not, I like it that's why i bought it , I know the //M badge on the back is in the incorrect position and i have no idea why, When i get some time ie not driving it i will position it to the correct place. I want to keep everything oem, I changed the busniess cd/radio to nz frequencies and it works well. The only thing i would like to do and somebody might be able to help me out with this. I want to utilize the oem cd/radio but with a thumb drive, I have seen a lot around for using the iphone/itouch but i don't own one and don't really want to. hahahahaha, Thanks Glenn , Yes i have now sold my beloved e36 and have now moved up in the world some may or may not say to a 2001 (18/01/01) M-Spec 325I. Looks like its going to be a great day today so will try and get some decent shots in today to get up. A big huge up's to Glenn who talked me through a lot of stuff on the phone, Thanks heaps mate your help and wisdom are always greatly received and respected.

hehehhe , Yeah i know Nick, Onwards and upwards though i guess, As i said what will be will be all depends on if the bank want to cough up the extra $$, so it just the waiting game i guess. When you look at it mate its still an e36 really just with a few bits and pieces in different places. My e36 is still FTW though

I am now looking at at full m-spec 325i, I grabbed the chassis number and took it into the dealer who gave me the build sheet (which i now can't find for the life of me) but everything checks out, In absolute mint condition with 17" alloys and all the guff, 56k on the clock, Jap import just arrived, Took for a test drive and very impressed. Problem is its over my budget but i am working on that. Will keep you's posted. What will be will be

Yup i am with you on that. That last one i was going to look at i just shot into BMW and grabbed a build sheet and its a Singapore version so that is a straight away no for me anyway.

You may be spot on, I think i might hold off until i come across something that is already at least 99% kitted out to what i want i think. The more i look though the more i want to stay with my current car as i have just not seen anything that is in my price range that ticks all the boxes, A few that ticks some of them but not all of them.

I really like the look of this , Caught my eye awhile ago, I have been umming and ahhhrrrring for awhile now. Guess i should ring the guy and go have a look. What do you's think ??. Price ?? . I see it does not have the mulitfunction steering wheel, What would be involved in putting one in. Would have to take stereo back to oem of course. for the speed sensor Try Instrument cluster connector X17 pin 2. black/white wire. Can also get it from the radio connector pin 10.

The bulbs just come out with a small flat blade screw driver, just turn them and they will pop out.
