Tell ME more..........i need some more appropriate(sp?) rims for my E3 then the BBS RK's i have now.
-
For the money, i would rather this one. Nicer colour and much nicer wheels. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-289090073.htm

Well if you don't feel safe in your E30 after that, then DON'T watch what happens to this E30 touring. If you watch it and think 'bout the aftermath it will make you feel a little ill, i did after i watched it couple months ago. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PhIsgxMs4iQ...mp;feature=fvwp

No bog??? What was the fairing material used? If it was Micro Baloons (as it looks) then technicaly it's still bog, just a very light weight bog used by the boat building and aviation industries Finished result does look good tho'. -
Not even in the same league.

Yep, Aussie rego stickers on windscreen of Merc' AND Aston.

Mate, i just did 3400kms around the S.I and not once when i stopped for petrol did anyone even look remotely like they were interested in giving any kind of service.

If i was buying something like that for that kind of money, i would at least want the panels to be close to fitting. IE: Door gaps on front doors, also where the top of front gaurds meet the HQ cowl panel is way out. For the man hours gone into the body work i would've thought it would be better than that.

Inspect the WHOLE coolant system carefully. Including heater core, ALL hoses and fittings. XJ's from '80 to '88 had MAJOR water issues very early in thier lives, starting anywhere from 'bout 10,00km on. As this one has been sitting so long i would hazard a guess that it will need some work in that area. Still good buying tho'.

An M7L, chur.

I warned him he may get his head handed to him if he does join

There's a few guys on there that are pretty clued up. But most of it is for entertainment value only lol.

I certainly hope it's no one here. Entertaining read tho'. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Community/Message....aspx?id=276217

100% correct. Put lacquer clear over lacquer colour ONLY. 2 pack clear over lacquer colour will last a couple of months but it WILL delaminate (lift), no matter what ANYONE tells you. Just do as 'westy' suggested mate.

A very tidy 635 csi, black with black and polished BBS RS's between Alexandra and Cromwell. An E9 3.0CS, dark blue on Harewood rd CHCH This in Nelson, oh dear, owner should've thought more on the exhaust choice. Also in Nelson, very cool colour. And again in Nelson, NEVER been rego'd in NZ (the owner, a fisherman from Nelson, also owns a Ferrari Testarossa) E39 M5 in Hokitika. Oh dear in Oamaru E34 M5, silver, very low on Throwing stars in chch.(pic' taken in mirror so looks crap) E46 330 'vert, bought brand new by the owner of a motel we stayed at in chch.

Will not be a NHRA sanctioned event next year, well not part of the points race anyway. PRO (top teir team drivers & owners of/in top fuel, funny car, pro stock and pro stock bike) have voted to not attend if NHRA make it a points race next year. Oh well, Bruton (guy that owns ZMAX and the Las Vegas dragstrip) just flushed 20 odd million down the shitter building ZMAX. No NHRA points race = No TV coverage = No $ = Bust. Oh and yes Top Fuel is a thing to behold. Been to many many national events both in OZ & US.

The Alpina badged one sold out of Wellington mid last year for 'round $400 from memory. I doubt it's real tho'. An Alpina 520? I think not lol.

THE coolest GM/GMH 3.8 V6 by far.

I think you're getting dicked 'round mate. Who did the cert'? Hoping it wasn't David Jones.

Ya may lose ya man card..................but at least little kids will think ya cool
-
Because he hasn't grown up yet, hence owning an E30

If, as you say, you mod' your cars for yourself........then why get defensive?

I'm just interested to see our members general age. The E28 has peaked my interest as i think most who like it will be in the younger bracket.

Without the wheels, no one here would cross the road to piss on that E30 if it were on fire. I don't see the appeal.
