  1. WTF!!! That thing gets worse everytime someone takes a photo' of it. I can't believe you kids are pulling yourselfs over it, it's a half arsed half done attempt at................actually i'm *^#^ed if i know.
  2. Thanks David, i knew 'bout the E34 blocks, but any idea what was the latest they used the early blocks? E28 E32?
  3. To be honest Brent, i don't know lol. I just know it needs to be an early block to suit the mounts in the E3, later blocks don't line up.
  4. I'm looking for a 3.5 M30 short block. Don't need head or any ancilaries, just block-crank-rods-pistons. Must also be an early block. IE: E12/E23/early E24/early E32.
  5. I agree. I blame the US tho'. If americans didn't want things like the 1 series, X1, X3, X6, 6 series and the Z's then BMWs range would be smaller and therefore they would get back to some form of exclusivtivity (sp?).

Well i hope John learnt his lesson last time and the only reason the guy knew 'bout the LSD was that someone told him, not by seeing it doin' something silly.
  7. The first bit is the answer to the second bit. They are british so are designed to work in crap weather by default
  8. 138: Zinnoberrot, Cinnabar Red, Standard Red. BMW part number: 51 91 1 930 082
  9. Done, crappy pic' taking weather tho' lol.
  10. Yeah they look pretty good. The blue on them was very average so with the tiny bit of colour i had left i masked them up and gave them a flick of red. I think the blue looked out of place now that they're red lol. Hope Luke likes them red
  11. Put it back together tommorow, give it a wash then in couple weeks give it a buff and polish. And yes i pulled the roundels off, while they were off i...........
  12. Using 2 pack on this one as it's a solid colour. Also it was the most cost effective way for Luke at the time. On this car i'm using 1 litre colour, 500ml hardener, 4 litre reducer, 1 litre prepsol and couple sheets sandpaper and couple rolls tape.
  13. LMAO good point, might do it tommorow...............then again for what i'm charging Luke i don't really think he'll be to worried.
  14. Almost ready, just have to whip rear wheels off, clean up the shed a little and then give the car it's final clean and prep'. PS: Luke, it may be treddly to work Tues' and Wed'. Have to make sure i've got decent temp' to paint.
  15. I wouldn't say i'm skilled lol. I do have plans for building a booth in the near future tho'. Yeah mate, bring it on down.
  16. Yep, and then on really nice sunny days, i give the paint a couple hours then put it out in gods bake oven lol.
  17. Yeah mate, staying red. All good mate, we knew it wasn't the best condition aye lol. At least it will be all one colour and shiny in couple days
  18. The paint on this thing has been touched up more than a 18 year old school girl , and whoever did the touch ups needs to be shot with a ball of thier own sh*t. Some repairs have been done in base coat with 2 pack clear, some done with 2 pack solid colour, some done with acrylic laquer and some done in enamel. Now who the hell uses laquer or enamel to do touch ups . Also it's been buffed/polished that much that in places the paint is SUPER thin. Pulled front kit off to make it easier to repair. Boot spoiler holes going away. Holes gone.
  19. Not mine.........I like decent sized cars
  20. Well i'm busy this weekend . Looks ok in the pic's but there's some dodgy paint work on it. Repaint the outside only so should be done by Monday night.
  21. I love 3.8 transplants in anything. Pretty sure series 1 motors had metal injector rails, but can't figure out if they are or not lol.

Can i ask who it is? EDIT: All good John, they did the head work on my twin cam Sierra couple years ago. I know they do good work.
  23. That $100 is before tax.
  24. I agree with the first part. But i think the thing 'bout targeting these people is it will hit everyone else. A bit to all encompasing, like trying to do precision target shooting with a shotgun.
