I really like the design of the rear wing...

Your such a wheel whore Josh, why do you need so many wheels. -
What was the damage to the pig?
It ran off into the bush but I think it was ok as it was a pretty slow impact.

I had the standard pedal box without a booster and it was a mission to stop the car because the pedal was so heavy, then I got a proper pedal box and it fixed it. As it is a racecar I am using race pads with standard rotors.
-
But ideally i would run the e36 m3 front setup with the e46 325/8i rear.
This is what I run in my e30 and it has awesome stopping power and balance.

After doing the last Hampton Round on a set that had blisters down to the canvas and have done 60+ heat cycles I don't want to risk taking them out onto the track again, does anyone have a source for some cheap NZV8's slicks? I was going to get a new set but I bought a house which has slashed my racecar budget

200kw is pretty impressive from the s50b32 .... especially considering that the s65b40 is about 218kw at the wheels on torque performance dyno.
Gavin managed to get 200kw out of my S50b32 to, must be his special mapping skills.
-
PS, Anyway know how the HiVelocity dyno reads relative to the Torque Performance Dyno?
From my experience Gavins dyno reads slightly lower but if you tell him that he responds with saying his one "reads right"

Happy Birthday Glenn, from James and the team

pm'd, hope its not to late

do want, though they might not make it under the guard of the race car

Happy Birthday Josh

They will be et25 with the 1" lips which should be fine, you might get a little rub on the inside rear wheels if the tyres have rash protectors.
I have a set of RS001's with tyres that wont rub if you are keen.

I have blown two headgaskets on my s50b32 and both times it made no sense at all and never smoked. The only way I know it has blown the headgasket is when it over heats when revving over ~5500.
Also if the plugs are dirty the S50 really struggles to idle. My S50 sounds like a rotor with dirty plugs.

Nice! Was thinking of replacing my stock cooler as my oil was getting rather hot on the track this year, more than the other trackdays anyway.
I was about 20C hotter than normal for a trackday, must have been a hot day.

I get the same problem with the racecar field and had to get one of the admins to change it.

i bet the novelty of the car would wear off quite quickly though?
What was the car built to commemorate?
It took months before it became just another car and every time I drive it I get giggles
I don't think it was built for any reason at all but to see how many features they could pack into a Kei Car.
-
Top speed of 120kph, christ that's quick.
It will actually goto 210km/h quite happily. It was a Kei car requirement that the speedo only goes to 120km/h
would be scary in that lil car :/ drove a honda city once... damn scary at the motorway hahaha
Its actually not that bad, being a manual steering rack you feel in control. I feel more scared driving my dad's V12 Jag at 100km/h as it seems to move all over the road.
edit - Also add in the fact the roads seem a lot wider as it only takes up about half a lane.
-
I has a limiter at 9500rpm but from my research they will goto 12000rpm safely with standard internals.
