I have 3 sets of e30 wheels for sale. Let me know if you want more pics.
1. 16x7.5 Borbet type A - ET30. Condition is below average but I have referbed one. Bought these to fit to my e30 but since found a different set of wheels so these have to go. - Wanting $400
2. 14x6 E30 Bottlecaps. Condition is below average. Comes with two toyo semi slicks and two shitty road tyres. I was using these to get my project rolling. - Wanting $80
3. 15x7 Random wheels with unknown offset. Come with slashed tyres and the condition of the wheels is average. I would suspect the offset is around ET25 - Wanting $350

Here is one I got that I wont be using
This 'Web Certificate' entitles you to receive a Free Brake
Disc toolbox magnet with your order of $35 or more. This cool
magnet is a miniature brake disc with red caliper attached.

Just make sure that you use this WebCertificate within the
next four weeks (it'll expire after that). Offer valid while
supplies last.
How do I use this WebCertificate? Simple! All you need to
do is enter this number: 1330333164-824-328 into the
online checkout screen when you are ready to complete your
purchase. The spot where you need to enter the number is
located right above the space where you normally enter your
credit card number. The discount will automatically be deducted
from your total. It's our way of saying thanks to our loyal,
repeat customers.
You have to act in the semi-near future, though. The
WebCertificate is only good until Sunday, May 6, 2012 at 11:00:05 AM.

Just watched it, excellent. I almost felt sad they didn't kill more people....

Finished off the engine last week, had to replace 2 injectors to get it running perfectly. Took it for a drive up and down the road and the auto doesn't seem to be changing gear, will that be because I have no selector so its thinking its neutral all the time? Either way I think a manual conversion might be needed
Here are some pics but nothing much has changed in terms of looks.
-
I need this
Do it. Josh and I will help you with the conversion.

Guides were fine as far as I could tell, I have it all back together now and turned it over last night. Doesn't have fuel in so it didn't start but should I be worried if the valve train is dead silent, all other e30's I have had sound like a sewing machine.
Will chuck some fuel in it tonight and see what happens.

what fab work is needed to get the big horn mounts to work/fit?
It requires a small bit of pipe to be welded onto both perches to raise the mounting perches, then a steel mounting plate needs to be welded on top of the pipe either side. IIRC The steel pipe is about 3cm on the exhaust side and 2cm on the inlet side.
I would suggest getting the correct mounts rather than using my method. In saying that, even though the Izuzu mounts are rubber they are stiff as and cheap to replace.

I don't know the dimentions of the mounts does anyone know where I can find them? also did your Izuzu bighorn mounts make the engine sit funny or make it sit better etc?
thanks
They make it sit perfectly but it would be easier for you just to get the right mounts as the izuzu ones required a bit of fabrication to get them at the right height.
-
If you know the dimentions you are after. Just ring up the mount shop and see if you can match one that is close.
I use Jag ones in my E30 as they are stronger yet exactly the same dimentions. So worth a call.
+1 for the mount shop, I am using Izuzu bighorn mounts on my e30s50 conversion.

The new ECU, exhaust and intake may max them out. What hp are 24lb rated to?
Really? I have a straight pipe intake and exhaust with an Autronic ECU and have never had any fueling issues. Its only ever doing track duty too.

Times?
Managed to drop 0.5 of a second from the final corner to Turn 2 in the last session due to finding some new limits. That leaves me around a low 1:13. I am happy with this as the slicks are far past the use by doing about ~500 laps from ~60 heat cycles at Hampton and Taupo.
edit - I should state that I didn't just drive faster to drop the time, it involved stiffer front springs, more toe out and more rear brake. This meant I could brake later, turn in easier and the stiffer front springs reduced some of the oversteer when putting the power down mid corner.

Bump - Anyone know where I might be able to find one? Any pickapart e30's with a beige carpet?
-
Haha, I've heard that one before.
I'll be scratching around the 1:15/ 1:16s and you'll be smoking us doing 1:13s
What are you doing for tyre's these days? I was looking at getting some new Hankook F200 Slicks for next season in the Open Class.
-
All paid up, see you guys there.
Yeap me too. See yas there.
I'll be driving like a an old lady while I test some new springs, it will be interesting to see what the difference is between us now.
